the family the arrived in sugarhill at one am, they got into their condo and went straight to sleep. brielle had just now woken up and was very excited to see her best friends

"girl where the hell are you cause that don't look like your room?" devon asked over facetime.

every night the girls had group facetimes and just talked about there day and any drama they wanted to talk about. last night brielle joined with her camera and mic off saying she was sleep as an excuse since she wanted her arrival to be a secret

" im uhh in rayvins room?" brielle said which ended sounding more like a question

" are you hiding something from us, we never hide anything from each other?" aaliyah asked.

" no im not but I gotta go im going to get ready and I'll call y'all later promise." brielle said hanging up before they asked more questions.

brielle got out of bed,went into her bathroom showered while listening to her playlist. after getting out the shower she did her skin care and made her way back into her room.

she had set up her vanity first thing when they arrived, she also unpacked her makeup,clothes, and other necessities. brielle did her makeup which was a natural everyday routine and did her hair which was in light loose curls.she got dressed in a simple purple skims dress with a white cropped sweater and white fluffy platform sandals.

"bri if you wanna get this surprise right we gotta go baby" sade said. sade had helped plan the surprise with the girls moms. like brielle she loved the idea of surprises and gift giving.

"im coming mommy, no need to rush me." brielle said mumbling the last part.

brielle walked downstairs with two bags in her hand. each bag was personalized for both of her friends. she wanted them both to feel a sense of importance and not give them the same stuff.

aaliyah bag was white and had her name in green glittery letters. inside there was everything aaliyah liked that was green like gum, m&m, airheads, chips, hand sanitizer,etc.

devons bag was white and had her name in red glittery letters. inside were her favorite things in red like starburst, gatorade, hot cheetos,candles, etc

"ok we are going to go to devons house since her and aaliyah planned to hangout today." sade said. sade was very invested in the surprise and was going to get it perfect.

brielle and sade got in the car and rode to there old block. as they pulled up to devons house she started getting flashbacks to all the memories the group use to have.

"ok go knock on the door, ill be right behind you" sade said

brielle slowly got out the car with a wave of anxiety hitting her. she walked up the steps and rang the doorbell. she felt nervous all of a sudden but she knew she had to go this, they're her bestfriends.

"ill get it mom!" she heard devon yell. hearing her best friend unlock the door made her plaster a big gummy smile on her face.

"OMG BRIELLE!!" devon exclaimed. hearing what devon yelled made aaliayh get up and run toward the door. brielle dropped the bags and opened her arms causing the girls to fall into her embrace.

" WE'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH BRI YOU DONT UNDERSTANDD!! aaliyah exclaimed.

the girls broke the hug after what felt like centuries and hugged sade. brielle grabbed the bags off the ground and gave them each there bag

" here are your gifts, go inside and open them!" brielle said happily.

brielle and sade followed the girls inside hugging and saying hi to devon and aaliyahs moms. the moms chatted while devon dragged brielle to her room with aaliyah following.

" bitch is this why you were being so damn shady on the phone earlier?" aaliyah asked.

"yess, you guess were interrogating me I had to find someway out of it." brielle said while laughing a bit

" ok but bri you look great, so much different from two years ago" aaliyah said

" what do you mean I look the same?" brielle asked while furrowing her eyebrows

" no girl you got boobs and an ass now, that was not there two years ago!" devon yelled

brielle started laughing and so did aaliyah and devon. brielle genuinely thought she looked the same, it was shocking to her that people would even think she looked any different than before.

the girls talked for a while catching up on all the recent stuff going on. it felt like things never changed and brielle was very happy with that.

" bri, have you talked to the boys yet?" devon asked

"no you guys know i don't really talk to them like that anymore no hard feelings to." brielle said, the end sounding like she was trying to reassure herself there was no hard feelings just regular distancing.

" do you wanna go see them?"aaliyah asked

"uhh yea sure..." brielle said sounding more like a question
