Kairi Marie Williams|Kai
"Kairi you okay?" My coworker asked me
"Yea" I mumbled lying
"Is it the baby?" She asked and I nodded
I've been sick as hell all morning and my feet swollen as hell. Every smell makes me nauseous and I just wanna go home.
"Bitch I think gon have to go home early" I said shaking my head
"Girl gon head and rest. They can send somebody over to take your shift" she said
I texted my manager what was going on and she said I could go home. I got my stuff and drove to Walgreens to pick up some more prenatal vitamins.
I strolled around the store seeing if there was anything else I needed then needed up getting a mini basket.
"Kairi?" I heard someone say behind me making me turn around
"Tenoch?!" I said shocked
I haven't seen this man in months
"Y-Your still p-pregnant" he said confused
"Yea but—" I started to say but he cut me off
"You wasn't gonna tell me?" He asked in the saddest tone and giving me the sad look every
"After what happened last time... I thought we was better than that Kairi" he said in a hurt tone
My heart just broke into a million pieces seeing his like this
"Tenoch... I—I" I stuttered
I can't tell him
"How many months are you"
"6"
Finding out that you're pregnant late is crazy because you damn near done with the whole nine months.
"Wow... I was finna be a dad and you wasn't gon tell me Kai... really man?" He said looking hurt
"Ten I'm sorry... its just y-you b-roke up with me and I didn't know how to h-handle it and I just..." I trailed off
"We get a second chance Kai... I know we been through some shit but we can get past that... we have to" he said grabbing my hand
Lord why are you doing this to me right now?
"Ten can we walk later... I have some things to do" I said
"Oh yeah... of course but ima call you Kai" he said
"O-Okay" I stuttered as he walked off
I quickly got the stuff I wanted then paid. I walked to my car, got in and burst into tears.
My phone started ringing and it was a FaceTime from Salem so I quickly tried to get myself together. It didn't work so I just pointed the camera to the ceiling.
