September 3 50 S.I. Solemnor State 11:19

The troops from Yeveltian's army storm by the Magicka's house. Their dark metal armor clinking against each other.

"Alright men. We need to find the family series of the Magickas," the captain of the army orders. His dark green hair that is all messy and swooped to the side by his helmet. "There is more to that family than we know."

"I love you too nana. M'bye." January hangs up and turns her LED-port off.

She walks to the family room and sits on the velvet red couch. The cold touches her skin and she gets goosebumps. She grabs the remote to the LED-screen and switches channels. The "State News" was on so January kept it where it was. The girl was back reporting more things about the new order Queen Yeveltian sent.

"This just in, Yeveltian comes back for more on her order. She did a speech a couple of weeks ago but did not broadcast it live. So we have what she said at the assembly. She said:

I have added extra to the new decree on separating the four elements into different counties. Fire in the east, winter in the west, nature in the north, and beauty in the south.

-Queen Yeveltian

We shall keep you updated after these social messages."

January is at the edge of the couch and turns off the LED-screen.

"This... can't be happening... Mom!" January yells and storms out of the family room.

She runs up the stairs to the top floor. She starts breathing heavily when she reaches the third floor of their house. While straightening up and starts breathing normally, January walks to her mom's door and knocks a couple times.

"January?" her mom answers.

"Mom, can I come in?" January asks while fixing her hair the second time.

"Sure, it's unlocked."

January thinks for a second.

Wait... the door shouldn't be unlocked when someone is either in not out. Why did she say that? Is that actually my mother?

January puts her wrist in front of the door knob and the light turns green. She opens the door a bit and all she can see is gray. The room is dark, books on the floor, shattered pieces of glass from a broken window.

"Mom?" January opens the door even more.

The door is opened all the way and January takes a step into the trashed bedroom. She finds her mother on the floor, unconscious. Blood trilling from her mom's nose and cuts all over her hands. January runs to her mom and shakes her to wake her up.

"Mom! Wake up!" January continues shaking her mother.

She thinks and wonders how the voice that sounded like her mom.

Was is a hologram pretending to be her mom, or just a recording of her mom's voice.

She looks all around the room for a voice box or a camera. A beeping noise starts irritating January's ears and she collapses to the ground.

"Must... turn off...!" January crawls to the continuous beeping sound.

It's in the bathroom, plus the walls were tile so the sound waves bounce back so the waves are all over the room. It's very affective with the Magicka's ears. They're too sensitive for loud sounds such as weaponry that fire bullets, to little balloons that pop.

January stands up and walks to the bathroom. She covers her ears and searches for the noise. The noise is coming from a voice modifier and its in the shower and it echoes like crazy in there. January uses her elbow to turn off the voice box and smashed it with her bare hands. Wires and gizmos are scattered in the shower.

"Who did this?" January talks to herself.

She picks up a piece of plastic and a signature is scratched on it. Its too dark for January to read so she walks to the balcony in her mom's bedroom. She focuses on the reading and narrows her eyes. What she reads is "Yeveltian Troops" and she drops the plastic.

"No way. She couldn't do this to us." January's vision blurs and tears run down her face.

January runs down the stairs quickly and trips on her own feet. She has her hands touch the floor and frost spreads across the second story. January stands up and the frost disappears into the air.

She touches a vase of flowers beside the staircase and the flowers turn to ice. January touches the flowers and the ice dissolves to snow. She uses more snow and gathers it all up into a snowball and shoots it into the air. Snowflakes fill the room and it sparkles with the glass dome on the roof.

"Wow. I forgot I can actually do this," January forgets to call emergency to save her mother. "I wonder what else I can do."

She walks down the stairs to the main story and she takes off one of her socks. She touches the floor and ice spreads in different rooms of the house. She squeals and walks on the ice with one sock on. She skates and giggles with a tone of fun in her voice.

"I should do this more often," January jumps. But then she stops. She needs to call emergency HQ. She rushes to grab her LED-port and shivers a bit to type in the number. She types it in and the dialing starts.

"Hello this is the Emergency Headquarters, what is your issue?" The young man on the other line asks.

"Yes, my mother has been beaten and she is unconscious. Please send an emergency hover to my address." January stutters.

"Tell me your name and we'll send them as soon as possible."

She tells the man her information and shuts up for a second.

"Thank you, ma'am." the man sweetly talks.

"No problem. Bye sir."

She hangs up and waits for the emergency hover to show up.
