It's been a while since jungkook have knocked on the familiar wooden door of his best friend. His anticipation could be predicted by how he was shifting from his heel to his tiptoes, rocking his body slightly, nodding off his head as of he is listening to some music when he actually wasn't.
Wasn't it suspicious? Well Taehyung did find it suspicious when he clicked opwj the door and saw jungkook standing there in his one of the grey oversized shirt along with some nude brown sweatpant, his brown hair looked fresh, slightly puffy as if he had taken a bath Ans haven't blown dried them.
"Hey buddy!" Jungkook fretted with a bunny smile as he leaned forward to engulf his best friend in a bear hug. He have been out of city for a while since he went to meet his sick grandmother who lived in the village at the outskirt of the city.
Taehyung of course was so happy to see him after a while, but he didn't miss to catch those eyes roaming inside the house-as much as he can from peek from outside of the door-as if in search of something. Yet, chose to ignore it.
"It's been a while bud, how's your halmoni?" Taehyung asked as he stepped aside and let the boy be inside the house who went to sit at the couches in the living room, sniffing in the oddly calming aroma of the house. He closed his eyes for a second And rested his neck at the back of the couch as of relishing in the moment of being back here.
"She is good now it was just oldage kicking in ya know" Jungkook chuckled slightly at the end. ,No offense he love his halmoni dearly And seeing her sick was a punch to the poor guys heart. Taehyung nodded with a chuckle.
"Where's everyone, house seems too quite" jungkook said as he looked around thoroughly. Taehyung who was walking towards the kitchen to grab some snacks for both of them, said loudly.
"Chim is napping I guess or maybe studying or reading. Such a nerd he is I swear to god. Mom dad are out for some business trip And won't be back until tomorrow night" jungkook nodded as he but his lip as his gaze wandered over the sert of stairs leading upwards to certains someone room, who's existence Jungkook's are begging to see.
"Lord, we are out of groceries. Wound you mind if I just go and grab some groceries And some snacks for us to munch on, what you say?" Taejyung asked as he grabbed his car keys.
"No it's fine, I'll just sit with Jimin Hyung for a while then" Jungkook suggested.
"Ok, good. I'll be back in few!" With that the main door closed and Jungkook wasted no second before skipping his way upstairs, skipping two stairs at a time. Eyes fixed on the door in the far off corner in the left corridor.
He felt his heartbeat increasing, his hands becoming Clammy. A stupid grin painted his lips as he stood Infront of the white door. Taking a deep breathe he slowly opened the door, making sure if the boy is perhaps sleeping then she should not be disturbed.
