My OC Kira and Expresso

It's about 7:30 as Kira stands over the stove and
And prepares a sauce for some dessert shes cooking. She stirs up some cream, salt, sugar, butter, and other things while part of the main dish cooks beside her.

"Heyy kiki" she turns at the greeting, expresso comes into the kitchen "hey ex, need something?"

"Just getting a drink, hows cooking going?" He comes around and starts sniffing at the pots and pans and anything else he's curious about

Kira taps him on the nose once he gets to close to the hot stove, his ears flatten and he glares at her "stop, I'm almost done so go sit"

But of course, as a cat, he doesn't listen and makes his way around to other parts of the kitchen "don't you need help or anything? I can cut vegetables"

Kira lets out a sigh, ex isn't the best with sharp objects and she really can't be trusted around fresh blood at the moment. Against her better judgement she says yes and continues stirring the sauce and checking other components of the dish.

Done with part of dinner, she goes to get the veggies. "How much have you cut up so far?" He turns with a grin "almost everything except my fingers for o... never mind, can you get me a bandaid?"

He turns back around, his finger leaking a beautiful red onto the counter and the carrot he was cutting "Expresso! This is why I don't trust you with sharp objects" Kira runs out the kitchen, not just to get ointment and a bandaid, but to also get away from his sweet smell.

Expresso cutting himself is just testing her.

She comes back to the kitchen with ointment and a bandaid, Expresso standing by the counter covering his finger "give me your hand"

Kira takes his hand and wipes off the blood, the smell way stronger than before.

"Actually I don't think I can do this, can you do it yourself?" She drops his hand and leaves the stuff on the counter "whyy? You always help me"

He grabs her hand and she flinches a bit. "Your blood has a very strong smell today, I don't think I can handle it" he gets a worried look on his face "oh! I'm sorry I didn't know blood made you uncomfortable"

Kira holds back a smile, he comes off so innocent and sweet. Hes like a clueless animal clinging to a predator.

She slips her hand out of his grip, now his hand is in hers "it's not that blood makes me uncomfortable" she raises his hand.

"It's the fact that I want to drink every last drop you have" with his hand in her face it's basically irresistible, she takes his injured finger and licks up the beads of blood pooling at the break in his skin.

Shivers shoot throughout Expresso's body, he was not expecting such a thing. For Kira it was ten times stronger of a feeling, the taste of blood sat on her tongue making her mouth water.

"God your blood is so sweet it's addicting"

She places his finger back in her mouth, licking up more blood and gently bites it, pushing more blood out.

His body starts to tingle from his fingers onward and a blush spreads across his face.

"I-im.. I'm confused Kira" she swallows the lump in her throat, trying to forget the hunger she had for him. "I'm sorry I haven't directly said anything about it before..."

"I'm part vampire" his eyes widen, his ears perk up and his tail starts to sway "v-vampire?"

Kira's face grows worried, she can't tell if he's scared or intrigued in this new information.
