I was the only one on the red carpet since my team died but I was kinda confused when I heard a gunshot from my left and then darkness.

I was even more confused when I was revived in a warehouse chained by the neck and hands to metal bars.

"Mhm... yeah... Black hair brownish tips? Yeah yeah it's her... oh really?... ok fine... be quick."

This guy hangs up his phone and makes his way to me.

"Hello, Blake. Ready to go back to the old life?"

"How'd you find me?"

"The scientists told me everything I needed to know. Your name, when you'd be there, where you've been, how many people would be there. And all I had to do was make a deal with a few gangs then wait. And now I'll get paid even more from the scientists."

'Fucker.'

"They told me you don't die and I should teach you a lesson on why running away is bad for you."

He shoots my leg then started to kick my head so many times I lose count. Another shot to my shoulder and a pistol wipe.

I don't react in the slightest. Yes it hurts like hell but I've been through this before.

After a few kicks to my stomach one of his boys stopped him.

"What!?"

"Our boys outside are asking to be let in."

"Why? There supposed to be guarding the entrance."

"I know but it's what they said."

"Ugh fine let them in."

After what sounded like a garage door opening but no one came inside.

"Dylan! Jerome! Their not out there."

"Then just close it."

'They must be blind.'

I'm directly staring at Wraith, Mirage, and Wattson in the dark shadows on the warehouse.

"Y-You guy are stupid." Mirage says and laughs.

The gang or whatever they are shoot at him but it was a decoy.

"Shit! Look around for the legends and kill them!"

I could see behind some boxes and scaffolding that Wraith was jumping in between dimensions while killing some bad guys super quietly.

Next was the electric fences of Wattson covered all exits.

Then they all came out guns blazing and left only the main guy.

He was about to say something but Wraith throws him into her portal.

She runs to me.

"Oh my god I was so worried about you! Let's get you out of here."

She unlocks the chains with a key she got off someone then helped carry me with Wattson.

"It'z good to zee you again!" She says.

Mirage was protecting us until we made it to a suv like armored car.

"Hope in amigos its time for a ride!"

We jump in and once we take off we are attacked by other cars.

'Why can't they just give up?'

"Mirage! Cover us!"

"You got it!"

He opens the back doors and shoots at them with a R-301.

"This is the most fun I've had all day!" Octane says and accelerates more.

I can't see through the windows that well but it feels like we're jumping over stuff and taking tight turns through traffic.

"Here!" Wattson throws two of her fences down and disable the cars.

Suddenly Pathfinder swings in and drops a grenade on them killing them.

"That's for my friend!"

He grapples into the car and we speed away to the tower.

Laughter and cheers are filling the car but I'm too weak to join.

Wraith has had her hand intertwined with mine ever since I got in the car. I slowly lose consciousness and Wrath notices.

"Hey. Hey! Stay with me!"

I close my eyes and think.

'I'm ready for some food.'

I wake up on a infirmary bed with all the previous people around me plus Lifeline and Caustic.

From what I could barley see they were trying to keep me alive even though I would've been revived if they just left me to die.

I see Wattson holding a crying Renee and then I hear my heart monitor. It's apparently flatlining.

Suddenly I shot up and sit upright.

They all stop what their doing and stare at me.

"Did ya'll forget I can't die?"

I wiped the blood off my face and immediately I'm hugged by Wraith. She cried into my shoulder then Wattson hugs me too.

"You scared uz." She said.

'But I'm immortal why would they care about me dying?'.

Lifeline then rests her hand on my shoulder.

"We were scared you were gonna be taken away. We didn't know if your revival would happen since it already was used today. We were especially worried when your heart stopped."

"It just takes a minute to get me back."

"Don't go scaring us again kid." Mirage says.

"I can't lose my new best friend."

'Wow. I guess I'm just suprised to see I have so many people caring about me. Especially her.'

I hold Wraith closer to me.

"It's okay. I'm not gonna die."
