"Girl all of those roses? What did you do with them?"
Atlantis sat beside Tyler, showing her the video of all of the bouquets in her living room. It had been almost two weeks since the night between she and Aaron.
At first she didn't plan on telling anyone but Tyler kept pressing her, basically because she could see a difference within Atlantis.
She didn't tell her who the one night stand was with but she did give hints.
"They're still there and still look good. I don't see how the girls do it, all of those flowers just sitting in the living room is crazy."
"Donations, rose water, relatives gravesites. But keep some for yourself cause they really are pretty." Tyler said.
Atlantis nodded while glancing at Ron who neared them. He noticed the video on Atlantis's phone and looked at her.
"Who sent you them?" He questioned.
"Someone."
"Man ain't nobody about to play these games with yo ass." He shook his head walking away. Tyler glanced over at Atlantis who rolled her eyes.
"What's up with him?"
"He's mad because he been trying to get back with me, it won't be happening."
Ron had been thinking Atlantis was sticking around longer to be around him but in reality she needed a steady income until she took on her teaching position in January.
It was only two months away but she knew she wouldn't last any longer at the club.
"After this last pay check I'm done." She revealed to Tyler. Tyler could agree, she didn't have as many people at her neck like Atlantis though.
Soon enough, the place started to grow with a crowd. The bar was pretty packed since there was a football game on.
Atlantis was getting major tips but she just had an unusual feeling within her body. She tried to keep herself together but it only got worse.
She let Ron know that she was leaving but he didn't too much pay attention to what she said.
"This is what I get, what if that man gave me something?" She whispered. She shook that thought away though because they both got tested the same week and sent each other that information.
Her mind then went on to pregnancy, she laughed extremely hard at that.
"Definitely not pregnant." She shook her head. She thought about everything she'd eaten in the past few hours and realized that the yogurt she had was a few days past the expiration date.
She figured it was food poisoning so she went by the store and grabbed what she was told to use. Ginger ale and crackers.
As she laid on her sofa, someone called her phone. She sighed all dramatically and picked it up. She didn't realize the number but she answered in case it was someone important.
"Hello?"
"Atlantis, good to hear yo voice." The person spoke. Atlantis immediately knew who it was by the extreme southern accent.
"How'd you get my number?"
"I asked around, that don't matter though. Where you at? I'm about to come through."
"If you bring your ass over here Landon you gone get shot and I'm not playing."
"Don't threaten me with a good time mama."
"What do you even want? I told you everything that happened to you was because of your so called friend."
"My so called friend that you fucked. You really the definition of homie hopping."
