"You alright?"

Atlantis glanced up at Aaron who stood over her. She was sitting at his dining room table, waiting for her glass of water from the chef.

"Yeah, just thinking." She glanced out of the window.

"Killing someone ain't all aesthetic and shit, it's traumatizing and eats your mind at night sometimes. You acted in self defense though, so don't stress about it too hard." Aaron said to her.

She nodded, hearing him say that did ease her nerves a bit. The sound of footsteps nearing the room grabbed both of their attention.

Scott, his head of security stood there seemingly with information to share.

Aaron nodded for him to speak.

"We made sure everything is secure, got some guys keeping an eye out at the club."

"Alright cool, you check her place?"

"Yeah, ain't see nothing out of place there."

Atlantis rubbed the side of her neck, she was relieved to hear that. Then again she wondered if she was in danger with all the precautions they were taking.

"Alright my driver will take you home."

"Can you take me instead?" She asked, a bit of tremble in her voice. Aaron could see that she was nervous so he nodded.

"Yeah, Scott just trail us down."

He nodded for Atlantis to follow him to his garage. She was amazed at the different cars he had, some of them looked as if he hadn't even touched them yet.

"I've never seen a garage this huge." She said, he glanced around. He was used to it so it wasn't that big to him.

"I get that often." He opened the passenger door for her to get in. Once they were both in the car, he placed her address in the GPS.

For a moment she found it suspicious but remembered that they did have the one night stand at her place.

"I'm glad it hasn't been awkward between us." Atlantis said. He laughed a bit while bringing his free hand up to his chin.

"Why would it be awkward?"

"We didn't really talk after it happened, but I don't really know how a one night stand works so..."

"We could've talked, but wasn't much talking able to be done because you were asleep. The next morning I got a message that I had a business meeting so I could only write you a note."

"That was very cute and old fashioned."

"Made you smile though didn't it?"

Atlantis laughed, she definitely was geeked from the note and especially the flowers.

"At least you saw me again, probably not in the way we expected though."

"I knew somebody was gone get that nigga soon, just didn't expect it to be you." He admitted. She didn't expect it to be herself either.

It became quiet, Atlantis started to get lost in her thoughts. Aaron noticed her hands shaking and placed his hand over hers.

"Don't panic, just take a deep breath."

She did as he said and got herself to calm down. Aaron pulled his car into her driveway and looked around.

"I'll walk you in." He said turning off the car. She opened the door and looked around before going up the steps.

Aaron guarded everything while she got her key out to open the door. Once they were inside, he checked everything out again.

"Am I safe here?  Cause I get the vibe that I'm not."
