Chan...do you trust me enough to tell me about you and Hyunjin? No...why would he.
...
School ended. Tomorrow was Saturday. I can finally relax. Just gotta lock my room, probably use planks to barricade the doors just for my dad to leave me alone. As always, Chan sticking by my side and walking home. It was quiet than usual.
I stopped walking. Chan immediately did the same and with a confused face. I took out my phone and started to type.
'What's wrong?' I wrote. Chan mouthed read it and lifted his eyes off the screen to look at me.
"Nothing, sorry if I'm being awfully quiet." He smiled. I started typing again. I was about to finish but Chan stopped me by holding my wrist with my phone attached to my hand.
"Try talking to me. I want to hear your voice." His calm voice gives me somewhat confidence already, but I can't. I shakily shook my head 'no' with my mouth parted.
"Try, please?" Chan tilted his head with a smile. I looked down. I can't do it, I can't. Why did I even bring this up?
"Look at me." Chan's soft and gentle voice made me look at him. "You can do it."
I felt pressured. I didn't know what to do. I can't even form a single sentence. Only small parts of words.
"H-hyun-jin..." is all I said. Chans smile turned into a frown in a split second. Fuck, I ruined it.
"Hyunjin?" Chan reassured I said it right. I nodded. "What about him."
"M-ad...at h-him?" My hands started to softly shake on his. He tightly gripped them on his own and holded them up. Now our hands were intertwined above our chest. He made sure I was looking at them. He smiled again.
"I'm here Innie." His dimples showing. "You don't have to worry about me with Hyunjin...it's in the past now.."
I tilted my head confused. Was he something to him? We're they buddies? Family?
"Are you free today?" Chan asked. I mean it was Friday, so I guess so. I nodded.
"Can we go to your place? I'll talk to you about this."
"U-uh.." my pulse gained fast. I don't know if my dad was at home or not.
"Mhm." I hesitated. Fuck why is it so hard to say no you dumbass.
"Okay, let's go." He smiled.
Hopefully he isn't here.
...
Fuck we're here...please please please don't be home.
I slowly took the doorknob and looked at it. Drops of sweat were seen easily because of my clear skin. Not so clean with some small scratches I mentioned of having a cat. I lied.
"Innie?" Chan checked on me. I turned the knob and looked around to see if anyone was there.
Luckily no one was here. Chan seriously was my lucky charm. With that I headed to my room holding Chans wrist. He was being pulled because of me rushing. I lightly pushed Chan inside and turned to close my door locked. I didn't bother to get planks or shit, he'll think I'm weird.
"No one's home?" Chan said, also looking around the area.
"N-no." I stuttered once again. Stop fucking stuttering.
"Okay, about Hyunjin." He made himself comfortable on my bed and so did I. We were now facing each other. I patiently waited for him to start.
"This was about a year ago or so..."
