Chapter Eight -

The next morning, Blaise found himself in the Hogwarts kitchens, nervously pacing back and forth as he tried to work up the courage to talk to Harry. He knew that this was his chance to ask Harry out on a date, but he couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty that was gnawing at his stomach.

Finally, he saw Harry entering the kitchens, and he took a deep breath and approached him. Harry looked up, surprised to see Blaise there, and Blaise felt his heart pounding in his chest.

"Hey Harry," Blaise said, trying to sound casual. "I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me later?"

Harry looked at him for a moment, his expression unreadable, and Blaise felt a wave of panic wash over him. But then Harry smiled, and Blaise felt his heart skip a beat.

"Sure, I'd love to," Harry said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

Blaise felt a rush of relief and excitement flood through him. He truly was worried that harry would turn him down. They continued to chat for a few more minutes, Until soon they parted ways, grins on both their faces.

It was evening when Harry and Blaise arrived at the restaurant for their dinner date. The sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow across the sky. As they walked into the restaurant, they were greeted by the soft sound of music and the warm flicker of candlelight.

Blaise was wearing a semi casual sweater and jeans that hugged him in all the right places, and Harry couldn't help but feel a little nervous as he took in his beauty. They were seated at a cozy table for two in the back of the restaurant, so they could have some privacy.

As they looked over the menu, Harry and Blaise chatted about many things like, their friends and what they wanted to do after leaving hogwarts.

After the food arrived, they ate and continued talking mostly about their interests and hobbies. Harry obviously shared more about his love for quidditch, and Blaise revealed his passion for art and journalism. They laughed and joked, feeling more and more comfortable with each passing moment.

Throughout the meal, Harry couldn't help but notice how beautiful Blaise looked in the candlelight. His eyes sparkled with a mischievous twinkle, and his smile was infectious. He found himself drawn to him, wanting to know more about him and spend more time with him.

As the night wore on, they shared stories and secrets, and Harry found himself feeling more and more connected to Blaise. He loved the way Blaise laughed at his jokes and the way he looked at him with his sparkling eyes.

As they finished their meal, Blaise took Harry's hand and walked out of the restaurant. They walked hand-in-hand down the street without a care in the world. Harry leaned in and whispered in Blaise's ear, "i really enjoyed today" he said causing a grin to break out onto Blaise's face.

Blaise smiled and looked around before he made eye contact with Harry causing him his heart to pound in his chest. slowly, he leaned in to kiss him, feeling the sparks fly between them. They pulled away, both feeling a little breathless, and Harry knew that this was the beginning of something special.
