A Summer Song

Chapter 3

Tae made his way to the table holding the tray, as he was trying to take his seat, he was startled by a hand on his back. He turned to find Bella, smiling at him with her hand still on her back, patting him. He didn't know what to do, so he just bowed down to acknowledge her. She put her tray next to his and sat down. "Umm...I am sorry if I disturbed you while eating, it's just that I don't like to eat alone, since my family have left to get some rest, I thought I will sit with some random person, but when I saw you, I couldn't help myself, so here I am", Bella gave her toothy smile, which made Tae think about Ri. He just assured her by placing his hand on her hand. They started eating their food, glancing at each other without saying a word. Bella wanted to ask him about so much, but she just watched him eat, she kept wondering how someone, even after many years IS still as beautiful and mesmerizing. She just wanted to hug him to his hearts content, but she had to control herself. Her husband's accident might be a blessing in disguise for her to have met him. She thanked God for keeping her husband safe but also for bringing him to their life again. She was shocked beyond imagination when she saw him the first time when he came to update them about her husband's surgery, but she kept her cool and look where they are right now, eating together, YAY! She high fived herself internally.

Tae didn't know what to say to someone you didn't know at all, so he did his best to keep her thoughts away from her husband, who was currently unconscious, "So umm...have you always lived here, in Seoul?", Bella just shook her head, "We came here two years ago, we were living far away from here, we came here when my daughter had a miscarriage, she was devasted, but everything is fine now, she gave birth a year ago, we knew the angel came back to us", she took out her phone and showed a picture of a little girl. Tae was lost at the picture, she was...she looked like Ri when she was of her age. "She is beautiful, indeed like a true angel", he said looking at the picture with love. Bella looked at him and wished for him to say something about himself. Tae cleared his thoughts and stood up, having finished his breakfast, he excused from the table. He took a picture of himself with the empty and used cutlery and send it to RI. He smiled and left for his office, not forgetting to fill his water bottle a YETI Rambler, a gift from his precious Ri on his 30th birthday.

"Everything looks good. Keep an eye on him and let me know if something comes up. And Bella, he should come around soon, don't worry, he is in best hands, my team will be there to his aid and update me regularly, now I shall take your leave, see you later" saying this Taehyung left the VIP room. Bella was not able to react to anything Taehyung said, as she was busy trying to capture the beautiful face before he left for the day. Ting. Bella read the message and her eyes blew wide open, she had to control herself from screaming, her son was on his way! Bella quickly dialled the number, "Hello, yes, no he is still unconscious, so you are here? Oh...alright, see you in a bit, thank you for coming so soon, must have been hard for you to...okay...okay, we will talk when you get here, come soon, I love you too my son."

Taehyung placed his keys in bowl and walked to the kitchen, he was thinking of making something for the lunch, he was tried but that was what they did every weekend. "Stop!", Ri shouted. Tae raised his hands in defence, Ri came and untied the apron. "We have already planned the meals, we are going for camping, to your favourite spot, and it looks like it's going to rain, so hurry, change and come down, everything is packed", Ri said placing a kiss on his cheek. Tae beamed, running to get changed quickly. If there is anything he loves to do in his spare time, its camping and bonus would be if it's raining!

They reached the camping spot, put up the tent, got all the necessary items out. They were ready to have fun. Fun here means, Tae with his book, rain pouring down, Ri and Jimin by the campfire, ready to pamper Tae. Night finally came, all three snuggled to each other, "Hmm...this is what a weekend should be, good food, best company, camping, books and rain...I love you two loads and loads...and thank you for taking care of me", Tae said looking up at the rain on the roof. Ri just hugged him tightly acknowledging his every word. "We love you too, truck full of loads...hahahaha", she laughed out loud when Tae tickled her for saying those words. Jimin teamed with Tae and tickled Ri. The silent night was filled with the sound of their laughter.
