once upon a time, there was a boy named Remus Lupin. you'd think that this boy was as ordinary as every other boy, but he wasn't. no ordinary boy was half a boy, half a wolf. and he knew it. so he tried to be as ordinary as everyone else.

so everyday he

woke up.

brushed his teeth.

changed his clothes.

went to the great hall to have breakfast.

studied the rest of the day, maybe read some of his own books if he had time for them.

had a cold shower.

changed into his pajamas and brushed his teeth.

read a bit more and went back to sleep.

and then, when he woke up again, he did all those things in the same, exact order and at the same, exact time as he had done them yesterday.

for a few years, it worked perfectly. no-one suspected a thing.

but once he was 13-years-old, he found out that his roommates, his only friends knew. remus was shocked. they'd tell everyone and he'd have to leave hogwarts.

but they didn't. it actually brought them closer to each other.

remus was (believe it or not) relieved that he could talk to someone about it. about his lycanthropy.

three years later, when remus was 16-years-old, he started to feel even more extraordinary.

it wasn't normal to like another boy, right?
