Chapter 9

"Tay! You have a visitor."
I went down after Phi Smile called me.
"Girlfriend?" she mouthed when I glanced at her. "Oh, no Phi. It's my friend." She just chuckled and walked to the kitchen.
I saw P' Gun chatting with Film. "That's great. You can enjoy and save up at the same time. You know what? I know a place that I can recommend!"
I looked at Film confused and she just winked at me.

"Okay, no need to thank me, Tay. An idea just pop up in my mind when I was dressing up so I went here unannounced and told that we need part time and you like to bake so cafe is a great place. hihi"
She whispered while where following Phi Gun.
"We're here!"

"Then, I'll see you two next week. Thank you." Said P'Krist after interviewing us. I can't believe I'll be working with Phi now. When we went outside they congratulated us. "Hope we have fun at work and get close." Said P'Singto and gave us fist bump.
Phi New chuckled and tapped my shoulder. "It's nice to be working with you, Tay."

After setting the oven I leaned crossed arms in the kitchen table while watching it. I Hope Phi New will like this.

I wear the gloves and open the oven. I was sniff it when I took it out.
I put them in a plastic container then prepared a chocolate syrup to put on top and heart shapes sprinkles
"What should I reason when I give you all to him? will he not be weird out? I hope not."
When I got finished, I put them on the fridge leaving one plastic container and went to the living room.
I sat beside P'Gun who's happily watching on the television and offered him some.

It was an afternoon, a week later after I met Phi New's mother. I was worried with Phi.
"I know you want to go" I looked at Off when he said that. "You know?" I asked confused.
"Yes! So let's go. The pretty girls are waiting for us in the cafeteria." He said massaging my shoulder.
"Oh shut up, man. I thought it something." I said shaking off his hands away from my shoulder. Off moved in front of me eyebrows creased "What something? let's go before they gone."

On our way, we pass by the student council office and I saw Phi. He saw me too and waved. I smiled and waved also.

"kyaaah, did I hear it right? she asked me if I want to hang out with her?" Film screamed. "Yeah." I said happily. "I'm so happy that I want to cry, Tay. But I need to prepare something. I should go Tay. Good luck with Phi, I'm rooting for you." She said before running away.
I took a deep breath then look around.
"Tay, sorry I'm late. Here's the tickets you won. My brother thought that it was mine since I was so eager and give me a coupon in a restaurant and I thought I should give it to you. Good luck with your date." Off said before hurriedly bid goodbye.

I was standing near the gate waiting for Phi. I could hear the loud music coming from the field where the program was happening.
"Aren't you Tay?" I looked at my side and saw the guy from the student council. The one Phi was always with.
He was holding a box with bunch of roses.
I nodded shyly. "It's look like you're waiting for someone here. Is it someone I know? Maybe I could help? He asked
