Chapter 2

Gun's big sister P' Smile came home when we're about to eat and joined us. We ate and talked about a lot of things. Tawan was so embarrassed when we talked about how he was when he's a little kid. Their house was full of laughter that night.

When I got home, the lights are already off. I guess my mother was sleeping by now. I walked quietly in the kitchen and opened the ref. I pulled out the box of cookies from a paper bag Tawan gave me when I was leaving and put it inside. I the grabbed a pitcher and went to the drawer to get a glass. I poured water in it then put the pitcher back the inside the ref.
as I got inside my room, I gently put the glass of water on the top of my desk and immediately lay down on my bed and fall asleep immediately when I supposed to take bath.

"Morning guys" I said as I slumped myself against my chair. Gun was about to talked to me when the teacher came in.

"It's break time finally. I can talk to you now New. I-"Gun was moving his chair towards me when he got interrupted by someone. "Excuse me, is New here? He's being called by the principal." "Sorry Gun" I said as I stand up. "argghhh again?" He grumbled. I just smiled at him before leaving.

I was outside the student council office, leaning on the wall waiting for my co-officer to come back. I wasn't able to attend to my remaining class for today as we had a very long meeting a while ago. I was Excused because I'm part of the student council but I'm still sad to missed the lessons today.
I took a deep breath, "I'll just borrow some notes to Gun." I said pouting. "Phi" said suddenly by someone. I looked at my side and saw Tawan smiling brightly. "Oh tawan, you're still here? it's late now." "We had general cleaning." Tawan said showing the garbage bags he's holding. "is your forehead okay?" he asked staring at my forehead. I touched it then answered. " Yes. It's healing faster than I thought, Tawan". "Oh please call me Tay Phi, I feel so old when called tawan".
I chuckled to his reaction and says " You do?" Tawan rubbed his nape laughing. "Why are you still here Phi?" He asked. I pointed the office. "We had a long meeting." "you're still waiting for someone?" he asked looking inside." Yes, my friend Earth, he's also part of the student council. We're going home together." Tay nodded and excused himself. "Okay Phi. I still need to throw these trash bags, take care."
