Sister From Someone Else's Mister

Walking parking lots

It's almost become robotic

It's so chaotic living life in this circle

And Seeing it all far from paying off

Phone buzzes

Nothing out of the usual

The same typical person blowing up my phone again

He's sitting in his car again

Neon lights surrounding him

Talking him through hard times again

And that's when he says

You're like my sister

So now we're a family from different misters?

If you would've asked me

You only have one sister

She's 16 and some day I keep telling you, you'll miss her.

I guess I'm your sister from someone else's mister.

We've been through to many twisters

I thought we were not brother and sister

Brother and sister

Sister from somebody else's... Mister...

I wonder if I'll ever find something brand new

Everything around this town reminds me of you

You act as if there's something more that you knew

But I guess keeping up with you

Is something to do

I was always the girl in the sweater

You were always the guy with the feelings that changes like the weather

I wish that we could make things better again

But it isn't in the cards

So I'll sit back in my sweaters and my cardigans

And hope you get better

Phone buzzes

Nothing out of the usual

The same typical person blowing up my phone again

He's sitting in his car again

Neon lights surrounding him

Talking him through hard times again

And that's when he says

You're like my sister

So now we're a family from different misters?

If you would've asked me

You only have one sister

She's 16 and some day I keep telling you, you'll miss her.

I guess I'm your sister from someone else's mister.

We've been through to many twisters

I thought we were not brother and sister

Brother and sister

Sister from somebody else's... Mister...

Too many repetitions

Too many awkward situations
