Jonah Hart:I still don't know what I'm gonna do.On 1 side,if I stay year-round,I can be more prepared to fight monsters and I could finally have a home where I stay for once.On another side,I don't feel comfortable with leaving my mom alone,but if monsters attack I don't want to put her in danger.Besides,I want to make it to High School and graduate.What should I do?
Vivian Vance:I recommend you to stay year-round.It's less crowded and you have more space.So trust me when I tell you that is very safe here than outside the barrier.
Evan:The world outside May be scary with all the monsters looking to find you,but it's worth living in it.I only stay in Camp Half-Blood during the Summer and I'm fine with that.It's good that you have a life outside Camp Half-Blood,even through the monster attacks make it difficult.I get to be with my mom and go to school with my friends back home in Richmond,Virginia.I wouldn't change it For anything.Besides,you and your mom constantly moved.So you get to be out of the monster radar.
Jonah:Yeah...

Ariana Finley:Me and Aaron have stayed in Camp Half-Blood for year-round since we were 8.It may feel lonely sometimes with half of campers leaving,but it's very peaceful if you look at the bright side.
Jonah:Have you tried to go home?
Aaron Finley:We tried,once.Our dad couldn't deal with the monster attacks and our step-mom couldn't deal with us.It's just asking for trouble.
Ellie Bolt:I wanted to stay year-round when I 1st came to Camp Half-Blood,but my uncle insisted that I had to go to school.But it's alright,I have my own space at home and i'm always ready for any monster attacks.
(Jonah Hart sees Lydia Sharpe)
Jonah:Lydia!
(Lydia Sharpe turns)
Jonah:Can you come here for a moment?
Lydia:Sure
(Lydia goes with Jonah,Ellie Bolt,Ariana and Aaron Finley)
Lydia:Mind if I ask what is this all about?
Ariana:Jonah's deciding whether or not to stay at camp for the whole year.
Aaron:You stay year-round,right?Or are you planning to go back home?
Lydia:To be honest Las Vegas is not much of a home.Sure there are lots of casinos,but you can still be home and feel lonely.I'm fine here at Camp Half-Blood if you ask me.

Clark:I never actually knew my mother.I was adopted by Mr and Mrs.Keller in Kansas.They raised me like their own son.When the 1st monster attack came,Mr.Keller tried to protect me,but...he didn't make it.I runaway from home,thinking that everyone would be better off without me.
Clark:(taking out a letter)It wasn't until 2 weeks ago,this came from Mrs.Keller,I mean,my mom.It said "Please come home"...
Jonah:So you're going home?Are you not scared?
Clark:Scared?I'm terrified.But,I miss her and I miss my home.
Jonah:You should tell Nalani what you feel about her,you know,before you go back to Kansas.
Clark:I've been trying to tell her,but every time I get close to her,I freeze out.Didn't you saw me at the Obstacle Course?
Jonah:😬Right
Jonah:Well, if you can't talk about your feelings,maybe you can try writing about them.
Clark:What?
Jonah:Your dad is Hermes.Write her a letter.
(Clark laughts)
Clark:😄Dad is the messenger of the gods.He sends the letters.He doesn't write them.Besides,if I can't talk my feelings out,how am I supposed to get them in piece of paper.
Jonah:Just think about what you like about her.What makes you think that she's the one for you.Not just about her appearance,but also what is inside of her.
Clark:Wow,Jonah.That's deep stuff.Are you sure you're not a child of Eros?
Jonah:Well,Apollo is also the God of Poetry,so...
(Jonah and Clark laugh)
Clark:(standing up)I gotta go
Jonah:Where are you going?
Clark:Cabin #11-Hermes is in charge of taking care of Festus,the mechanical dragon that protects the barrier,this month.It's my turn to feed him.See you later,Jonah.
