Rai's body shook under the force of the warriors' push as they were forced to their knees. She growled lowly as she spat, copper tinging her sense of taste.
"Easy man. He's just a kid."
Rai's head lowered and they panted as they braced their hands on the dirt in front of them. The smell of the smoke and vision of flames engulfing the village made her head throb.
"We'll see what the King wants to do with 'em."
"Speak of the devil."
Black boots entered Rai's vision and they hissed as a hand gripped their head and pulled it back. He would have been beautiful, if Raiga wasn't absolutely furious. His layered blong hair fell over his shoulders to his hips with his blue streaks beneath, and his blue and crimson eyes focused on her as he pursed his crimson lips. It looked like blood that complimented his dark garb and uniform. The woman beside him, looked angelic and out of place in all white.
"Tell me, what is going on here?"
"Pshhh...as if I know, ass-"
Rai's breath released in a hiss as her body made contact with the ground and her cheek dug into gravel.
"Wrong answer. Want to try again, little one?"
"Fuck. You."
Eien shook his head as he pressed his chunky boot into her back.
"Guards. Take him with us."
