A girl laid in her bed, not having moved for god knows how long. Had it been hours? Days? Who knows. She couldn't move, didn't eat much, her parents tried to get her up and out the house to school but she wouldn't budge. Eventually they were forced to physically get her to move, and set her up for school, as she missed too many days of the year.

The girl was in her bathroom now, staring at herself in the mirror. Was it hot outside? Cold? She didn't know, she didn't bother to check. She looked down at her school uniform, she hadn't worn it in days, it looks foreign on herself.

She sighed, picking up a brush and softly fixing her hair. She kept her hair down to at least try to blend in when she did attend school. Not that anyone noticed her, she would always lurk in the back of classrooms, and no one paid her any attention. She was in a daze until one of her 5 parents called her attention.

"RC? It's time to go!" Curt, one of her fathers, called out to her. She heard a door close, and a car start. She sat the brush down, and exited her bathroom, and went to retrieve her bookbag. It only held a few notebooks, a couple pencils, a pocket knife, and a binder. Her parents were well known influencers, so her protection needed to be ensured.

She walked downstairs, ignoring the arguments of Ivan and Den, two more of her parents, about if waffles or pancakes were better. As she passed her living room, she noticed her other two parents asleep on the couch. Kristine and Christian, laid drooling with gaming remotes in hand, and empty bowls of ramen next to them. She shook her head, not even feeling the urge to laugh, and left her house.

As she got outside, her eyes started to burn from the sudden hit of sunlight. She had a hand shield her eyes and looked over to her car, her father sat in there impatiently.

She hurried over to the passenger seat, buckling herself in as she sat down. "Sorry dad, I spaced out- I was doing my hair. Is my hoodie in here?" RC said trying to explain herself. He nodded and pointed to the backseat, where her grey and white pullover hoodie laid. She reached over to grab it before confirming she was ready to go to school.

As Curt pulled out of their driveway, RC couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of anxiety. Curt noticed and gave her a comforting hand to her shoulder. "Listen, I know it's been tough, and you have really bad social anxiety. I do too, not gonna lie...but you know it pains me to have to send you here. I hated school as well but who knows! Maybe you'll find friends like I did, hopefully not the kind that decide to adopt and raise a child together but- you get my point haha!" He said, earning a small smile on RC's face.

The mood got a bit lighter as the drive went on, then Curt suddenly had a realization. "Oh! I almost forgot, here I got you a new phone. Since the last one kinda broke. Our contacts are already there so just let me know if you want to come home early, ok?" He said, while handing her the phone as they pulled up to the school.

He parked in the lot as students of all heights and sizes passed by. "Again, if it's too much for you, just give me a call. But at least try to make a friend ok? It's been three weeks since you've been here, and you missed too many other days. You have to go now, I love you RC, have fun!" He encouraged her as she stepped out the car and put on her hoodie.

Curt started to drive off, leaving RC with no choice but to go inside. It felt like years since she'd been there, does she even remember the halls? She sighed heavily, and started to enter the building.
