Crazy? Nah..
RC turned to see All 5 of her parents rush out of their car towards her. Before she could react, she was engulfed in a large hug. "Oh my god guys, we found her!" Curt sighed as he held onto his child. Christian and Ivan sighed, while Den and Kristine looked extremely satisfied. "At least we knew where to look, and didn't waste hours of the time! Like some people.." Kristine said while pulling back from RC, and the other's following her action. "We need to get you home, asap."
After helping RC into the car, they realized that there was actually no space for everyone. Ivan stood outside the vehicle in confusion on how he was getting in. "Uhm. There's no space.." he said, looking at the others inside. Curt and Den sat upfront, Curt driving of course. Christian, RC, and Kristine sat calmly in the back of the car, seatbelts on and comforting RC. "Guess you'll have to walk, or get in the trunk!" Christian said pointing to the back of the car. Ivan looked at him, utterly baffled. "THE TRUNK???" He exclaimed very loudly, which resulted in glares from the other 4 adults. "Tone it down! RC is just calming down." Kristine said from all the way from across the car.
Ivan sucked his teeth, reluctantly making his way to the trunk of the car. He opened it and analyzed his space given to him. A car door opened from in the front, and Curt appeared next to him. "You'd fit. You're like 5'3 anyways." He said pointing to the trunk. "Well, hurry up, we've got places to be man." Curt said, making his way back to the driver's seat. Ivan listened to the door shut, and groaned as he slowly went to hit his body into the car. He reached up, to shut the trunk, and as he did the car sped off almost immediately. This sent Ivan flying in the back of the car. "WHAT THE FU- SLOW DOWN??" He tried to protest, but unfortunately no one heard him. Tragic, everyone sat peacefully in their proper seats, not hearing or feeling Ivan's pain.
The car ride was quiet, no one, minus Ivan of course, said anything. RC was peacefully sleeping on Christian's shoulder, while Kristine rubbed her back gently. Curt was focused on driving on the least populated roads to get home the fastest. And Den was on her phone, searching up ways to help calm a teenager down. "Do you think...we should send her to a therapist? She didn't exactly comply with the last few, but I think she may need one?" Den said, as she scrolled and read through the tabs she'd opened. "I'm not sure, she doesn't talk to many people, she barely speaks to us as it is..I mean I wouldn't either but that's not the point. I don't think she's ready for that kind of thing." Curt sighed, considering whether it would actually help or not. He didn't want to make the situation worse.
"I think I have a solution- BUT HEAR ME OUT FIRST!" Christian whisper-yelled, trying to let them give him a chance to speak. "I know what you're gonna say...'No Christian! No weed!'...but it helps! When I get super stressed, I smoke, and I'm back to my normal nerves again! I think a little bit could help RC for now. She seems really stressed out." He tried to persuade them, and for once, Curt was considering his offer. Curt groaned, muttering curses silently. "Damnit Christian...why are you making a point right now." He complained. He turned into their neighborhood, waiting for the gates to open after a second. "I'm also kinda mad that he's making a point as well, but he's not wrong- it works." Den shrugged, smirking a bit at her words. Curt and Kristine snapped their heads towards her. "YOU SMOKED??" They said simultaneously.
Unfortunately, they arrived at the house before Den could explain. Not that it was necessary. Kristine got out first, then leaned back in to unbuckle RC's seatbelt. Christian, then opened his door to get Kristine's help from his side. She unbuckled his seatbelt and lightly lifted RC's head up to remove it fully. Christian then carefully got out of the car, and picked up RC all at once. "Yeah you got that one man.." Kristine said watching him effortlessly carry RC.
Christian shrugged, then made way to the house, which was being held open by Den. As everyone made it inside, RC was brought to her room by Christian, and tucked in by Den and Kristine. Den, Curt, Christian, and Kristine all sat down on the couch, exhausted from todays events. "Why do I feel like we missed something?" Curt said confused. "Everyone's here right? Christian, Kristine, Den, RC...OHHH SHIT!" He said hopping off the couch. He leaped towards the door, swinging to open suddenly. "We forgot Ivan in the trunk!!" He said running outside, and to the trunk. He opened the door and Ivan immediately came spilling out of it. "JESUS CHRIST!! You guys nearly killed me while driving, and I thought you all forgot about me for a second! Thank god not." He said letting out heavy breaths. "Of course not bro! How could we ever.." Curt said, helping him out. Inside, they all faced their forgotten friend, and acted like it never happened.
