Chp 5

A/n- this one's short asf but still please enjoy this and I promise next chapter to be longer :)

As you walked through the busy hallways of medbay you stuck right to ghosts hip. Ghost glared at anyone who looked your way and he made sure to check in on you as you walked.
You saw how ghost had turned on some sort of on switch making him seem harsh but he was soft to you.

It made you wonder why but when someone approached you got into a defensive position and went to punch if they moved again but ghost kept a hand on your shoulder to reassure you again. It was hard for you , you were still scared and all you wanted to do was protect yourself from harm's way . you finally made your way towards some sort of yard and you stood in the front of the ground and looked around taking in the sunny sight .

You felt the warmth hit against your skin and you looked up towards the sunny sky and you
realized this may have been your chance to escape but you saw that there was fencing around the area causing you to sigh mentally. You were hesitant to step out but you slowly made your way out and looked at ghost.
'' what now ?.''
You questioned.
'' just breathe .''
Ghost replied , a sudden tone of bluntness in his voice.

You didn't know really but you stood in high alert , you looked around hastily and you head snapped towards the creak of a noise and you picked up a rock that had lied on the dirt ground and you went to throw it at the man who had also stepped outside , it was soap.

"Finally managed to get her outside ?."
Soap spoke as he stood next to ghost.
" Yep , just don't get too close . She'll attack you."
He replied .
It was true , Ghost had accidentally scared you and you went and tried to attack him. It mostly just ended up with him getting a few scratches and he left you alone after in your room but you learned over those few days to become more comfortable around him.

You just stared at ghost for a moment not knowing what to do and you just sat and watched him. When you had said not to look for your parents, ghost had gone to Laswell and they had no choice but to see who your relatives were.

They had found out your father was a drunk with multiple chargers for many things that weren't good but they didn't find much info about you and what had happened to you. It was gonna be hard to get info from you since you weren't gonna give in so easily but they needed to know who you were but they decided to just take their time and wait till that time came.

Soap had said something to ghost for a second before leaving you and him . You didn't know how fresh air was supposed to help but it was peaceful a bit.
" What's the purpose ?."
You said as you kicked a rock that was in the ground and threw the one you had in hand.
" well I dunno really , maybe you want to head inside ? Maybe come to the Rec room aye ?"
He suggested and you tilted your head at him.

You walked up to him and just stared at him waiting for your answer. You didn't need to speak to be heard .
" It's just a hang out room with a kitchen and a living room."
He said simply and you have a slight nod.
You've only been outside for not even five minutes and you were ready to go back inside.
You preferred beaches and forests , not plain dirt with a fence around it .

Ghost held out his hand for you again and you took it gently . You hoped that whatever he had in store was okay but most importantly in your comfort zone.

You knew as the day progressed you would learn to have a blissful rest .
