Maybe it'll help if I tell you a bit of back story. Let's start with the mention of Hewinson and how this connects Morris and Mr. Leeds.

"Dearest Sheila,

Oh my love, how you would be lost in wonder here. The Island is magnificent and everything they told us it would be. Dearest Sheila, the children are well and have been staying close to my parents as I have continued to hunt for work. I have some news on that front, I have taken the money we saved for you to come be with us and I have invested it into a Motor company developer. Sheila, my love.... Forgive me but you cannot join us as expected. Ive had to marry into a prominent family in order for the children to have a future. So I could have a future, and that future doesn't include you anymore. I have adopted the Familia last name of Hewinson, and the company will be overseen by investors. I promise you my love, we will be together again one day. I just have to do what's right for the children, for our future..... All the reasons you spared us for the Fontenoy and stayed behind.

Love Lito"

Established in 1858 on the new cities of Ledges. Swarcliffe Estates Lito Tivoli took over ownership in 1891 after his new wife perished in a barn fire. All originating Hewinson family members were cut off by Lito. Lito Tivoli arranged to have his estranged wife, mother of his four children brought over by the famous Fontenoy that originally brought he and his children to Ledges. On the trip across the Mediterranean the Fontenoy was stricken and suffered irreparable damages- February 10 1892 causing the drowning death of Shelia Tivoli and the remaining members of the Tivoli clan.

Lito was devastated and vowed revenge on whomever created the unnecessary havoc. He soon learned that his dance with hostage takeovers with the once prominent Hewinson Clan wouldn't have gone over quietly. Mikhail Cotta and his Brother Lincoln Dhalia arrived in Ledges and crafted turf war as the West Wellington Gang. Lito upended the East and formed the Cheltenham Gentlemen named for the neighborhood Chav who cried foul when the wars broke loose to the papers.

PAPERS LOCAL LEW.

News broke out that an underground crime organization arrived in Ledges and the turf war had started. Articles and hand drawings of Mikhail Cotta often referred too as Cale Cotta were scribed. Local people adored Lito Tivoli but none knew of his dastardly deeds when it came to the infiltration of the Hewinson Company and slow riddance of the existing Familia attached. Cale was drawn as a nemesis of the city while Lito was drawn as the original DON of the city. A photograph submitted by a young Spanish boy became the header attached to the chav Antony Lafferty, the town crier.

Everyone became scared and the cities of Ledges would never be the same. Gangs would come and go and sides were drawn much like a map complete with a compass. There were the Northern Noose's. The South Side Slag. As mentioned, our East & West affiliates. The Lew was run by a local family that some said to have been under the thumb of one of the gangs, but no one really knew. They became known as The Family! Some how whatever was produced by the paper was factual from there on in. The Lafferty's were deemed pissed and lunatic, and as so they were removed from any ever acceptance by town folk of the cities.

GEO Wellington owned and operated STOKES & SON Locksmiths. This was once a legit business, but it is to be believed that over time it couldn't be coincidental that the business always flourished. The Cotta Dhalia clan were often seen hanging around the formattable building over the years. By 1900 the Tivoli children began calling the shots and literally shot down the Dhalia's from every landing in Ledges again. The Locksmiths began to be quiet and stayed out of the troubles brewing and most effectively the Wellignton Gang ceased to exist. The crier once mentioned he seen Cale Cotta and his men sneak off the rocks by boat in the night. No one paid much attention to the Chav. The ECG would continue on as leader of Ledges dominating any rival gang who dared enter the cities again.

The under ground assumed mafia wars rarely came up for air, and so the cities of Ledges believed by 1956 that all this once upon a story life has literally been a thing of the Lew's past. The Lew would be sold, the gang names were washed off the graffiti walls and the business's on Cheltenham and Passage would fare mildly as time would pass.

PRESENT DAY on Cheltenham & Passage:

As I mentioned above, and oh by the way it is still I, Kason Dalton.

The Hewinson Warehouses partnered with General Motors by Mid Century and hence they still operate in vast locations.

Stokes and Son is operated by the same family a quiet bunch of red headed Irish people who make a living changing, fixing and creating modern locks.

LEDGES LEW (Place of Shelter from everyday gossip) as the paper magazine is now formally attached too thrives in print and digital all across Connors Island.

There is a quarter mile stretch of land that sits the Lafferty compound. Through time they were treated as ring master of a fake circus and so the town folk bordered them off, added lures and treated them as a foul freak show. Through the years the family were Ne'er-do-well's and failed to change their public image. Some legends even call the Cheltenham compound as cursed and gypsy driven. One word peopled used was condemned. Never to be bought, sought or wanted.

Hard to imagine isn't it? A massive part of our beloved city has all sorts of history with both a darkness and light on each side of the street!

1998 BROOKE ARMSTRONG ORPHANGE Tropics of Nord

A young boy was abandoned on the grounds not far from a fruit tree. The tale goes Kiwi, but he didn't have an accent like the rest of us. 😊 Tom and Mary Leeds adopted said child and brought him across the Island to Swarcliffe Estate. Swarcliffe was equivalent to royalty and if one lived there you were set for life. This boy was Sabastian. By year 2020 Sabastian had fallen hard on the bottle and couldn't help but digress in what the maid of the family believed to be true his originating family was addiction by gene. The family Maid was all knowledgeable and so they sent their daughter to care take Sabastian as he ventured away from his lover TJ and they ended up in Ledges. Cecil and Donny followed them to Ledges that same year. The dying grandmother of Sabastian left everything to him and it was unknown as to why she sent him to Ledges. Sabastian was now the only remaining heir to the Leeds estate from Swarcliffe. Still a bloody bore, well at first.

Ahh yes this takes us back to the dinner party...................
