The New Guys (One Direction Fan Fic)

Chapter 1

"Ugh I hate this, why did I volunteer?" said my best friend Cassandra.

"Because you love me and you didn't want to make me set up all by myself." I grinned at her.

"Michelle just shush and keep working" she replied.

I stuck my tongue out at her but kept blowing up balloons. We have to set up for this pep rally. Yippee, note the sarcasm. Apparently a band is going to play, but I bet it's just one from here. Fontana High School.

"How many more balloons do we need!" complained Cassandra.

"I think this is enough, let's go tell the principle that we're done." I replied.

~~~The Pep Rally ~~~

"Okay everyone. Is everything ready? The band is almost here. Let's go let's go!" Lenny yells. Gosh she's annoying. Just because she's head cheerleader she thinks she's the queen of the school. She was skinny and had curly black hair that matched her dark eyes.

"Does she think she's the boss of everything or what." muttered Cassandra. I agreed but had to go I was supposed to get the band ready backstage. The principle never said who the band is going to be and now I'm getting really curious. I'm looking down I'm my clipboard when 5 pairs of feet walk in.

"Okay you guys are going to be entering through this door." I said pointing to the door on my left my eyes never leaving my clipboard.

"Thanks love."

I froze.

Am I crazy or did that guy sound familiar. He had a British accent as well. I look up slowly. First I see dirty white Converse then black skinny jeans followed by a white see through V-neck that gives me a glimpse of his tatoos when I finally see his face I gasp and drop my clipboard. I found myself looking at piercing green eyes.

It's Harry Styles.

I crouch down to get my clipboard when a large hand beats me to it. "I got it." I hear him say. I look up to meet his gorgeous eyes and I see he has a smirk on his face. I mutter out a thank you.

"O-okay um well y-you guys uh are on in 2 m-minutes" I stutter out.

"Aww she's nervous how cute." says a voice. I look up and see Louis Tomlinson smirking at me as well. As soon as he said that I start blushing furiously which makes my even more embarrassed considering when I blush I look like a tomato.

"Stop pestering her you guys and let's go we're on" said Liam. When they all walked out Harry gave me a small smile that I probably must have imagined.

"Oh my gosh it's One Direction!!" shrieked Cassandra, "I can't believe they got One Direction to come here." She rambled on. I smiled at her I knew she was a huge One Direction fan. We get to sit in the very front considering we were part of the working crew.

"How is everyone today?" yelled Niall. His reply was a bunch of shrieks. Especially from Cassandra, I'm just saying I'll probably be deaf soon. But I knew Niall was her favorite so I let it slide. Niall looked down at Cassandra and gave her a wide grin his blue eyes twinkling.

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!!!!" yelled Cassandra, "did you see that Michelle did you see that?!?!"

"We're going to start off with a classic." said Zayn. Wow I'm not a big One Direction fan but I never notice how attractive these guys are. Louis with his light brown swept up hair and his deep blue eyes, Niall with his dyed blond hair (yes I could tell it was dyed) and his ocean blue eyes and playful grin. Liam with his short hair and deep brown eyes, Zayn with his quiff and chocolate brown eyes framed by his long eyelashes. And finally Harry his chocolate curls, his green eyes that can make you melt, his wide smile with those perfect pink lips, and his to-die-for dimples. Sigh. I gotta say Harry is my favorite but Zayn comes as a close second. The way he acts so mysterious and Harry seems like the very open and flirty type. I didn't realize they were singing till the music died down a bit and it was only Harry singing.

"Baby you light up my world like nobody else the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed but when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell you don't know oh oh you don't know your beautiful!"

Throughout his solo his eyes green seemed to find mine. When he was done he winked and smiled at me.

What?

Am I crazy or did Harry Styles really do that. They then continued on singing their new album called Four but I was only half paying attention. I couldn't stop thinking of what Harry had done. Did he really mean to do that towards me? I mean there are a bunch of prettier girls he could flirt with and then there's me. With my long brown straight boring hair, my dull hazel eyes and medium height. My attention was called back to the stage where Louis was thanking everyone. That was my cue to go backstage again. This time I was really nervous. I was to escort them to the back of the school. I was waiting when a voice startled me.

"Well hello there again."

I turned around to find Harry smirking at me again. What is it with these guys and smirking, seriously?

"I'm afraid we didn't properly introduce ourselves this is Louis-"

"Hello!!" Louis all but yelled in my face.

"Louis really? Show your manners you're scaring her" scolded Liam, "Oh sorry by the way I'm Liam" he said with a warm smile.

"Hello Liam" I smiled at him.

"Sorry" muttered Louis looking at the floor embarrassed.

"It's okay" I said laughing.

"I'm Niall nice to meet you" Niall said.

"Nice to meet you to" I said giving him a big grin he's just so adorable.

"I'm Zayn" said Zayn looking deep into my eyes.

"And I'm Harry" said Harry taking my hand and snapping me out of my trance with Zayn's eyes. I look at Harry seeing him kiss my hand. I was blushing a deep red.

"Don't you like to blush." interjected Louis smirking at me causing the boys to laugh and me to blush harder.

"I'm afraid we didn't catch your name love?" said Zayn.

"Michelle" I whispered.

"We'll Michelle it was lovely meeting you but I'm afraid it's time for us to go." said Liam. The rest of the boys just whined and groaned when he said this. "Come on now no complaining" Liam told the boys. When we finally got to the back of the school and it was time for them to leave. I surprisingly felt disappointed.

"How about you give me a call soon." I look up to meet Harry's eyes. I was shocked but took the paper. "Hopefully I'll get to see you soon." He said while gently giving me a kiss on the cheek with his perfect lips. He then got in the van with the others, and left. I went to go find Cassandra with a huge grin on my face; this is some share worthy news.
