How Tails met Cream

Cream's POV 

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself. I'm Cream the Rabbit, and these are my Chao pets, Cheese and Chocola. They've been my companions ever since I was a baby. 

I'm an orphan living at daycare. I'm usually, the sort of quiet girl. I don't really socialize much with other people here, I only have a dollhouse to play with, and some building blocks at daycare.

"Everyone! Please come and meet a new friend. Everyone, we wanna welcome a new comer, living with us. Now, I want all of you to be nice with him, okay?" 

"Yes, Miss Joy," we all replied. 

A young yellow fox shyly came out of her back. He wasn't just an ordinary fox, but he has a twin tail! 

People were gossiping on his appearances, and so the yellow fox seemed to be nervous since it's his very first time living with us. 

I didn't hesitate to approach him, "Hello, I'm Cream the rabbit, and you are?" 

"Miles Prower, but people call me 'Tails'" the young fox replied. 

"It's nice to meet you Tails, you can start socializing with them. Oh, and I forgot to say, Cream, can you show Tails his new room?" 

"Of course Miss, come! Follow me!" I jogged excitedly up the stairs and Tails followed me. 

"So, this will be your room. We're actually sharing rooms, oh, and your bed is the dark yellow one," I pointed. 

Tails started to feel shy around me. I giggled and blushed at him.

 "May I sit here?" He pointed out to my bed.

"Of course, you can!" I exclaimed happily. "Anyways, I'm gonna talk to you about our schedule in daycare. So basically every morning at around 7am we eat breakfast. For lunch, we eat at 12pm, and last but not the least, we eat dinner at 6pm. For play hours, it lasts from 1pm-5pm only. For school hours, it's from 8am to 12pm," 

"What do we do from 6pm and onwards?" Tails asked me. 

"By those times, it's our free time," I smiled. "Oh wait, let me check the clock, it's around 6:30am,  we have thirty minutes before breakfast. Come with me downstairs, and just leave your luggage there," 

I jogged downstairs, and headed to the kitchen. Our task is to help the maids here, prepare our plates and other utensils," 

"Why though?" Tails asked curiously. 

"Oh, it's because in daycare, we grew up being independent. Honestly, I've been living here, ever since I was a baby. So, I never really get to know my parents. What about you?" 

"Well, I never get to know my parents either, I was just abandoned as a baby in the forests," 

"Oh...I see.." I felt really guilty for my friend, who also stayed an orphan in his entire life. And he also didn't even get to know his parents. We have so much in common. I thought about it before I placed the plates in the table. 

Tails stared at me, "Are you okay, Cream?" 

"Oh..yes..it's just that, I know how it feels to be alone all these years," 

"Do you have any friends?" 

"Yes, but I don't really socialize with people too much. I'm sorta the quiet girl in daycare. What about you?" 

"I never had friends, when I was young I was always being bullied by others, because I have a twin tail," 

"Well, they shouldn't be judging anyone's appearances, especially that you couldn't even control it," 

We sat down and eat at the table. 

"Exactly. But everyone in daycare seems to be friendly. But I don't know why they were gossiping about me earlier?" 

"Oh, it's probably because they've never seen a fox with twin tail" 

"By the way, where are the others, isn't it breakfast time?" 

"Oh, last night, we had a huge party, and most of us ate a huge dinner, they are like hungry bears that gobble up and eat a hundred of ice cream and cakes to make their tummy full. That's why most of us are still full, but for me I'm pretty hungry, I'm  not the kind of person that gobbles up their food," 

Tails smiled and giggled, "I guess, they must be very hungry last night," 

Both Tails and I smiled at each other, I suddenly blush..

"C'mon, we have to eat quick, we still have classes," I said as I quickly give myself a mouthful of Aroscaldo. 

"Hey! Wait for me!" Tails pouted and chased her.
