Chapter4

"Masen... I'm Jacob," I heard. Taking my eyes off the breathtakingly beautiful woman with three scars on her face connecting her almond eyes to the bottom of her jaw. I looked toward the sound to be face­to­face with one the most handsome men I have ever saw. He, along with all the other men in the home, was of a russet complexion with raven black hair cut short. They all had tribal tattoos on their upper bicep of two wolves howling.
"Nice to meet you Jacob." I said smiling at him, shifting my body so I was sitting up fully instead of laying down awkwardly. I looked around my surroundings, taking everything in. There were 5 other men standing around the room staring at me with defensive expressions, all of them adorned with the same tattoo, there was a woman standing next to them with the same tattoo but with a softened expression. Another man entered the room with the beautifully scarred woman, who was holding the solution and a case for my contacts. I thanked her as she handed me the products and took the dry contacts out, putting the drops into my eyes.
"I'm sorry for intruding on you but I should be leaving," I said to them, glancing at everyone before standing up. My legs screamed in protest after being unused for a few days.
"Wait! Please stay, you were unconscious for 2 days dear," the scarred woman told me, gently pushing my shoulders until I was back in my previous sitting position. A soft blush tinged my cheeks as I soon realized these individuals have been watching me sleep for two days but it soon disappeared as panic began to sink in.
"Two days?" I started to pat my pockets to find I was in another set of clothes, a baggy pair of sweats and a loose fitting t-­shirt. My eyes darted around the room before landing on my jeans, my phone sitting on top of the pile. Jacob followed my line of vision, grabbing my phone and handing it to me. I smiled thankfully at him before typing my password looking to see that I had 12 missed calls from Alice, 4 from Edward, a dozen more calls and texts from Emmett and Rose and a text from an unknown number who I'm assuming is Bella from the message.
"Are you okay?" she asked me, taking a seat next to me, resting her hand on my thigh in a caring manner. I shook my head lightly clearing the thoughts racing through my head before turning my phone off.
"Y-­yeah. Just trying to think, thank you,­" I paused realizing I didn't know her name. I didn't know any of their names except Jacob.
"Oh my, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Emily and that is my fiance Sam," she said pointing to the man who entered the room with her.
"Hello. I'm Sam, and these are my friends," he continued naming off the men around the room as well as the woman leaning against the wall with a soft expression on her face.
I repeated the names in my head over and over. Connecting the people to their names. Seth was the youngest and his sister was Leah the woman. Paul was the tall angry one, Embry, Quil and Jared were quiet and stayed away from me for the most part. After a few minutes of speaking with Emily, Seth spoke up.
"Masen... Why did I find you in the woods?"
