Liv's POV
It was Holdens first day at RidgeWood and he asked me to show him around I introduced him to my friend Andy and my sister and then I introduced him to Diggie.

"So Liv um when is the school prom?"Holden asked me and I was a bit curious about why he asked

"Um I'm not exactually sure I think it might be in 2-3 days but I can ask Andy why do you want to know about prom."I was still trying to figure out why he asked and if he was trying to find a way to ask me out

"Well there is this girl I like and I have liked her since elementary school and I didn't tell her because I had moved and now I want to ask her to prom but I don't know if she likes me back"He said and I was shocked that he would tell me that kind of thing

"Well there happens to be this boy that I have liked since elementary school and I didn't tell him because he moved and I want to go to prom with him but he hasn't asked me yet because he doesn't think I like him back"I said trying to tell him that I like him back

"So Liv Rooney would you make me the happiest guy in the 11th grade and go with me to the prom?"He asked me in the cutest and most romantic way how could I say no he was my elementary crush

"Yes Holden I would love to go to the prom with you"I said trying to hide how excited I was but I couldn't this was my first boyfriend and I couldn't hold in my excitement any longer I hugged him and it felt good to hug him and not have it be awkward

                   FlashBack to 2 days before Holden moved

"So Liv if I was to move back and happened to be at your school and asked you to prom would you say yes?"I asked wondering if I could get away with this before she figured out what I was doing

"Holden I have liked you since elementary school I would say yes and if you asked me to be your girlfriend I would say yes"She said I was happy and shocked because I never thought that she would want to be my girlfriend

"OK so I have to go but maybe I can come visit sometime so that we can hang out"I said trying to be as subtle as I could be

"Ya that would be amazing bye Holden"She said trying to hold in the tears I could tell she was upset that I was moving and why wouldn't she be I mean we do like each other

"Oh Liv please don't cry you're way too pretty to cry just pretend that I am here with you everyday and then I will come back and visit you"

"Hey Maddie remember Holden who I had a major crush on before he moved?"I asked trying to figure out if she remembered him

"Ya did you here he moved in right across the street I know you would be super happy if you saw him"She said giving me some breathing room

"Ya I did he just asked me to prom and I could not be happier the boy I like asked me to prom and he might ask me to be his girlfriend at prom"I said trying to make it seem like I knew nothing about her boyfriend asking her to the prom

"Ya I just wish Diggie would ask me to the prom he hasn't asked me yet and I'm really upset about it"

"Oh Maddie don't worry he will ask you just wait a few minutes or like wait until tomorrow"

"Hey Rooney why so upset?"Diggie said as he walked into the room

"Hi it's just me and Liv were talking about prom and it's just you haven't asked me yet and I really wanted you to ask me"Maddie said to Diggie trying to hint him

"Oh Maddie I'm sorry it's just I kind of got a date before we started dating and never told you because I didn't want you to be upset I'm going with Andy and I think it might be best if we broke up"Diggie said and then instantly Maddie broke down crying

"Diggie why did you do that you know Maddie loves you and then you turn around and break up with her I thought you were better than this why didn't you just say you couldn't go to prom and not make up a lie Andy isn't going to the prom I know she is my best friend"I said because he hurt my sister

"Maddie I'm sorry we shouldn't break up I just said that cause something happened and I'm upset about it"Diggie said sitting next to Maddie holding her hand and trying to cheer her up
