Chapter - 5 Effort to move on

Two more months had passed since Emily and Daniel's bond had grown stronger, to the point where they considered each other siblings. Emily's struggles with inferiority complexes persisted despite their closeness. The weight of her family issues continued to take a toll on her mental health, exacerbating her insecurities.

One evening, as Emily and Daniel sat together in their usual spot, Emily's voice trembled with vulnerability.
