It had been six long days since Dineal had decided to give Emily the silent treatment as a form of punishment. The weight of guilt had been gnawing at Emily's conscience, making each passing day feel like an eternity. She couldn't bear the silence between them any longer, and her heart ached for Dineal's attention and forgiveness.

As the evening sun cast a warm glow over the kitchen, Dineal stood at the stove, preparing their dinner. The aroma of spices filled the air, but it was overshadowed by the heavy atmosphere of silence. Emily watched him, her eyes filled with remorse and longing to make amends.

Finally, unable to contain her emotions any longer, Emily mustered up the courage and ran towards Dineal. She backhugged him tightly, burying her face in his back, and sobbed uncontrollably. Her cries echoed through the kitchen, filled with regret and desperation.

"Dineal, I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry for what I did. Please forgive me," Emily wailed, her voice choked with tears. "I didn't mean to hurt you or disappoint you. I'm sorry for plagiarizing and betraying your trust."

Dineal froze for a moment, feeling the weight of Emily's anguish in her embrace and her tearful pleas. He turned around slowly, his eyes filled with both concern and a longing for resolution. Seeing Emily in such distress broke his heart, and he couldn't ignore his little sister's pain any longer.

Her cries echoed through the kitchen, the raw emotion in her voice piercing the silence. "I miss our laughter, our talks about dreams and aspirations. Please, Dineal, I need you to forgive me. I need you to understand how deeply regretful I am."

As Emily poured out her heart, Dineal's eyes glistened with unshed tears. He held her close, his own voice filled with a mixture of sorrow and affection. "Oh, Emily, my little prince baby sister," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I've missed you so much. I've missed our silly jokes and the sparkle in your eyes. I never wanted to see you in pain."

Tears welled up in Dineal's eyes as he continued, his voice cracking with vulnerability. "It broke my heart to give you the silent treatment. I didn't realize how much I needed you too. I'm so sorry, Emily, for not being there when you needed me the most."

Emily's cries softened, replaced by a mixture of surprise and compassion as she heard the sorrow in Dineal's voice. "Dineal, I didn't know you were hurting too. I didn't mean to make you feel this way. Please forgive me."

Dineal gently wiped away his tears and smiled through the emotional haze. "Of course, Emily. I forgive you. We all make mistakes, but it's how we grow from them that truly matters. Let's learn from this together."

As Emily felt the weight of forgiveness and understanding, she nestled closer to Dineal, cherishing the bond they shared. "Thank you, Dineal," she whispered, her voice filled with gratitude and love. "I promise I'll make things right. I'll work hard to earn your trust back. We'll create new memories and laughter together."

Dineal held her tightly, his tears of sorrow now mingling with tears of joy. "You're my little sister, Emily. I love you more than words can express. Let's move forward together, hand in hand, and make every day a reminder of our unwavering love and support for each other."

Emily clung to him, finding solace in his comforting embrace. Her sobs began to subside, replaced by a sense of relief and reassurance. She knew that she had made a mistake, but Dineal's forgiveness provided her with the strength to face the consequences and work towards redemption.

Dineal sat Emily down at the kitchen table, wiping away her tears with a soft cloth. He spoke to her in a calm and gentle voice, explaining the impact of plagiarism and the importance of academic integrity. He emphasized the need for honesty and integrity in all aspects of life, guiding her towards a path of growth and learning.

"After this incident, Emily, I want you to understand the consequences of your actions," Dineal said, his voice firm yet filled with love. "You will need to write a sincere apology letter to your teacher, acknowledging your mistake and expressing your commitment to doing better. Additionally, you will be required to complete a research project on plagiarism and present it to me. This will help you understand the gravity of what you did and ensure that you never repeat it."

Emily nodded, her eyes still brimming with tears, but now with a newfound determination. She understood the significance of the punishment, not just as a consequence for her actions but as an opportunity for growth and self-reflection. With Dineal by her side, she felt supported and motivated to make amends and become a better person.

"But what punishment do I give you for making me so sad, princess?" He said in a teasing way.  With Emily in his arms while in the living room wandering and walking around.                             Emily make a cute pout "No more  punishments naa.."

Dineal "Wait I know it. Just first close your eyes." Emily followed not at all scared as she knew that Dineal won't actually punish her.

"Ouch! Ahh! Aii!" She cried in a pretty small and soft shout. As three small spanks landed on her bottom.

She opened her teary eyes not because of the spanks or any pain. But feeling  the pain Dineal had to go through because of her and how for the first time she saw him cry.

"Sorry Dineal" she said looking down. Dineal who was busy laughing at her small shouts became surprised and concerned when he saw her in this state.

"Emily! What happened dear, did it hurt? But how can it hurt I just did that in naughtiness. I am so sorry if it hurt you even by mistake! Baby tell me na does it hurt? Are you alright? Why are you crying? I messed up, I shouldn't have done that, sorr---"

"Did I say that it hurts? It's alright Dineal it is ok and it does not hurt, but, I am sorry please no more spanks.."

"Don't be sericeous I literally just did that for fun!"

"I am still sorry I didn't mean to hurt your emo-"

He placed his finger on her moth gently after this. Signaling her to not say anything more.

Soon because of crying so much and finding comfort in his arms she slept in his warm embrace.

As the morning wore on, Dineal and Emily continued their conversation, sharing their thoughts and feelings openly. Dineal expressed his regret for the unintended severity of the silent treatment punishment, admitting that he had made a mistake in not providing proper guidance and support during that time.

"I promise, Emily, that I will always be here for you, guiding you and supporting you," Dineal reassured her, his voice filled with sincerity. "I am your brother, and I love you unconditionally. We will work through this together, and I will help you become the best version of yourself."

Emily smiled through her tears, feeling a sense of relief and gratitude. She knew that the road to redemption wouldn't be easy, but with Dineal's love and guidance, she felt a renewed sense of hope and determination.

And so, with forgiveness, understanding, and a shared commitment to growth, Dineal and Emily embraced a fresh start. Their bond, tested by challenges, grew stronger as they embarked on a journey of healing and learning together.
