"Blue lock third selection, world all-stars 5-on-5! The rules are the same as the second selection, and the game goes to five points! Also, this game will act as a special screening match to represent Japan in the U-20 world cup!" The speakers in the corners of the field blared.

"So this is the warm-up to the world cup.." You muttered.

Blue lock VS world all-stars, 5th match begin!

You got the kick off, and of course, you and Ryusei's minds were practically linked at this moment as you ignored everyone else on the field and focused on your number 1 priority. Getting the ball to Ryusei.

'They're either gonna go easy until we get the first goal to see our teams strongest members and special characteristics, or will go for the kill straight away. I mean, they certainly have the skill to.' You thought to yourself, eyes gazing around the field to see what was happening.

You were almost able to see the people behind you, which was a strange sensation that you had experienced multiple times before.

Yes, there was one thing called peripheral vision, but this was different. It was like your eyes were evolving into something new ever since you started to get back into soccer, and it was pretty darn cool.

'Behind me, around.. hm, 17.5 meters. I just need a trajectory of 67.. no 64 degrees then the ball should get to him.' You thought and before you could register anything, Pablo was already in front of you, arm around your torso though it seemed like quite the lazy gesture.

"He's 24.3 meters away now.." You muttered, this time out loud and audible for Pablo to hear.

Before the rainbow-haired man could react, you already trapped the ball on top of your foot this time before kicking it up and blasting it behind you without any second thoughts, not paying attention to the people and motions around you.

Pablo stood there for 1, 2, 3 seconds before slowly turning back to where you were standing. He noticed you were staring at Ryusei, who had received the ball and was going for the shot.

You narrowed your eyes.

This was the perfect timing, position and pass. A few more steps forward and..

BAM!

The sound resounded through the whole field, the world five looking at the goal that Ryusei had just scored in wonder, well only Loki reacted while Pablo swung an arm around your neck, bringing you slightly closer to him.

You turned to him calmly, a smile on you face.

"Your passes are pretty cool" Pablo muttered to you, staring at you dead in the eyes.

You only nodded, same smile still on your face as you felt his arm slowly retract itself away from your body and back to Pablo's side.

In the distance, well it was only around 60 meters away, you saw Igaguri cheering Ryusei on while Reo and Kurona stood next to the two with small smiles on their faces.

"Not bad, not bad. Seems like that kid's the heart of this team." Luna simply stated with a look of wonder on his face.

"Those two have impressive chemistry" Loki added on, zipping next to Luna who nodded in response.

This time, Loki got the kick off, and as soon as the whistle started, he was immediately behind you, the rush of wind coming delayed, as if time froze.

Reo was trying to run after Loki but wasn't able to catch up.

You and Kurona ran side by side while Ryusei trailed further off to the right, trying to form the formation that the team had practiced, but it was of no use as before you were even able to tell anyone anything, another whistle blared and there stood Loki, in front of the goal with a calm, resting smile on his face.

The ball was inside of the goal with some of the world 5 players going up to Loki or trailing behind him.

"Come on, Loki. Don't do it all yourself." Pablo pouted, cheeks puffing up.

"Okaay, I've had enough of this anyway. I'm ready to hit the showers and leave, this is the last team anyway." Loki replied, patting some of the fake grass down with a leg.

The next round for the point started, and that's when Ryusei got the kick off.

He was fast to the goal, trying to find an opening to pass to you as Blake was pushing him around.

"Get off me you lame white man-" He grunted, several irk marks appearing on both Blake and Ryusei's faces.

"Out of my way. I have no interest in male bodies." The blond huffed, his strong English accent prominent from when he spoke. He pushed past Ryusei with such force even he was sent stumbling back.

"Fuck you too, micro-penis!" Ryusei half-yelled out of pure anger. He had no idea what Blake said, but it was obvious it certainly wasn't a compliment.

Blake quickly made it to the goal and scored.

Of course, this was to be expected.

The first goal that Ryusei was able to score was purely luck alone.

I mean, these were the best players from around the globe, so it wasn't very disheartening when the team soon learnt the fate of their future.

The match continued to fly by pretty fast, Luna scoring the next goal then Dada and Pablo finalising the win by scoring the last and final goal.

"Dammit." Reo muttered while laying on the floor, sweat dripping of his forehead as he sent a mini, though tired out glare to the group of five men who were currently leaving through the door placed on the other side of the room.

Loki looked back at the five of you. 

"But don't worry. We're just here to assess you guys."

Luna continued on for him. "This matches real objective was to pick members for Japan's U-20 world cup team."

Loki then spoke again. "We knew you guys would lose, right from the start."

"There's no way you coulda won!" Dada boasted with his cocky, signature grin placed on his face.

"Time to report to Ego about your skills.." Pablo muttered with a hand to his neck. He looked bored.

"Let's hurry up and get back to the hotel." Blake hurried and the five of the walked through the door though Luna took an abrupt stop.

"Adios, you lumps of talent. Let's meet again on a real field."

And with that, there were five.
