Upon entering the room where the training/decision matches would be held, both Rin and Ryusei stood on one side, their eyes soon gazing to the same direction at the noise of more people stepping onto the field.
"Oh. There you all are. The small fry interns." The blonde grinned, barely even looking at the rest of the team he would be playing with, immediately staring at you.
"You, Isagi?" And Rin's line of sight soon quickly swept away from the darker haired man to another boy on the team. His eyes seemed to immediately soften, and Isagi took notice of this, his eyes widening ever so slightly. "And.. You, M/n?"
"Hi" You blatantly smiled though it seemed to lack emotion.
It was almost like you, I don't know, didn't want to be here?
"You guys know him?" Hiori muttered, glancing between the three of you, feeling just a little left out but also a tad bit confused, like he was intruding in something personal.
Ignoring the other two, you casually strolled up to Ryusei who barely turned your way before grinning.
Rin also stepped closer to the two of you, not exactly wanting to hang around Isagi, who was the only other guy he knew aside from M/n.
"I didn't think you would ever continue playing soccer." Rin though out loud, facing your direction.
"Ehe. Don't think I'm here by choice. The moment I'm allowed to get outta here, I'll be gone. Blue lock is probably the worst decision I've ever made, and you can blame it all on that fugly ogre."
"You know I'm hot. Just admit it already, babe~" Ryusei made some strange and weirdly uncomforting face as he puckered his lips and floated a little to close to your face.
Your eyes widened and a rather creepy smile formed on your face as you slowly sat down, your arms raising up to tug at your hair gently before beginning to tug and pull vigorously.
"Ahhhahahahaahaha." You laughed, though that sarcastic sound soon turned into something that could be mistaken for a sob.
Rin stood there with a blank look on his face as Ryusei continued to downright violate you.
Looking at the two of you interacting, a memory sparked within Rin's head and before he could register it, a small and rather quiet sound released from his mouth. A sound that was easily known to be a laugh.
On the sidelines, Hiori and Isagi watched.
You were on your knees, arms covering your head while Ryusei continued to circle around you and whisper random shit into your ears while Rin was standing a few steps away, his cheeks puffing out to hold in his laugh.
"Wow.. I didn't know he could laugh." Isagi muttered, staring forward blankly while Hiori sweat dropped and laughed awkwardly, soon glancing up as the other team began to flood the field.
"They're here.. Team B." The teal haired boy muttered, staring at the opposite door that was now filled with people.
"You guys are one defense, 'kay?" Tabito grinned back at the rest of his team while Otoya added on. "For real. No talking back."
"That depends, I suppose." One of the team members said.
"Let's go."

"Let's begin! 5-on-5, first to five goals wins! The GK will be a blue lock man, as always! The first match of the third selections last stage, 'tryouts'! A vs B!!" The loud speaker in the top corner of the room announced.
"Time to explode."
"Pipe down, you blonde roach."
As the match began to commence, Rin quickly let everyone know who was in charge on the field. "Shut up and follow me." He muttered, passing the ball to Ryusei after receiving the kick off.
"I'm unstoppable~" Ryusei continued to dash through the field before Otoya quickly entered his line of vision.
"I won't let you pass any further." He blatantly said, eyes narrowed though calm. Otoya's arm reached towards Ryusei in an attempt to stop him.
"Huh?"

bro i just wanted to say something.. i dont really read bllk fics, but sometimes i just randomly click on them for fun and i'll scroll to the latest chapter,, and the fic will be like a good 30 chaps in but STILL be on the FIRST selection arc.. like im nearly up to the U-20 match and im not even 25 chaps in oml am i pacing this too fast??? 😭
anywho the way im not even into blue lock anymore.. im rewatching hunter x hunter rn and its so bloody good omfggg
