We arrived at fwights room and knocked on the door.
Dr carson answered.
"hey, he up yet" i asked, trying to peek behind him.
He edged over slightly to block my view before replying, "yeah, poor guys in a lot of pain, anyway, what are you two doing here"
Me and tanya looked at eachother before stepping to the side. Ambers head popped up between us.
"three, actually" she laughed.
Dr rolled his eyes before stepping out into the hall, he looked to check it was clear before letting us both inside.
We went in and looked at dwight. He looked like shit. He had a gauze on his face and banfages wrapped around his eye and ear.
He was half asleep on the chair. Maybie we shouldnt be as ruff on him as we were gonna be.
"you ok D.MAN"
Im guessing we woke him up because his eyes shot open and he looked confused as fuck.
"huh, hey guys" he said as he began to unwrap his bandage.
"D.MAN what are you doing?" tanya asked.
"how doess it look?" dwight queeried.
"wow" tanya's eyes went wide as she saw the burn.
"that bad, huh?" dwight laughed weakly.
"wowzers, cant lie, its not as bad as the last guys was" i reassured.
He laughed again, "that good"
"and atleast you didnt piss yourself like he did" tanya interupted with her comment.
The three of us laughed, he even heard a little sound from the doctor sat in the corner writing on his paper.
We joked around with our buddy for a little bit longer until the drugs and pain caused him to pass back out again. Dr carson re-wrapped his dressings and i pulled tanya backwards."maybie we should come back another time, he couldnt leave uet anyway, even if he wanted to, his wounds to bad. Pet him heal a bit longer, then we will talk to him."
"ok" tanya replied as she looked at our friend, he had made a bad dexision to return, now him and his wife were paying the consequences.
But that didnt matter, they were both still our friends, and we wwre gonna do everything in our power to help them.
"were gonna head off now, before people know were gone" tanya told the dr as she opened the door. We told amber that we were gonna wait, then we set off down the hall.
