With each sigh that escaped Taehyung's lips, he entered his private chamber to find Jungkook seated gracefully on the King's bed. Her beauty remained as captivating as ever, but within her heart, guilt lingered. Though not of her own making, she couldn't shake the burden of compelling Queen Jimin to share her husband.
"My King," Princess, now Queen Jungkookie, gracefully rose from the bed and curtsied.
"I suppose you are aware, I will not touch you or any woman in that way if it's not Jimin." Taehyung said,
"I understand completely, my King," she replied. "I would never expect you to touch me or any other woman in that manner unless it is Queen Jimin. And you are aware that my heart belongs to someone I can never be with."
King Taehyung nodded in understanding before suggesting, "You may have the bed. I will make myself comfortable on the couch."
Next day
Jimin graciously offered Jungkook a tour of the palace, knowing that it was her first time visiting. Together, they embarked on a journey through the grand halls and exquisite rooms, immersing themselves in the splendor of the royal residence.
As Jimin guided Jungkook through the palace, they arrived at a picturesque garden. In that serene setting, two young boys, dressed in regal attire, were engrossed in play.
Approaching the children, Jimin's presence caught their attention, causing them to halt their activities. They stood still, captivated by the sight of Queen Jimin approaching with another lady by her side.
"Mom/Your Highness," the children greeted warmly.
"Allow me to introduce Prince Ji-hun and Han-bin. These two precious children hold a special place in my heart," Jimin explained to the bewildered Jungkook.
Jungkook, not wanting to upset the children, decided to reassure them by sharing that she is a princess and a dear friend of Queen Jimin and King Taehyung. She gently explained that she would be residing with them permanently. However, she couldn't find it in her heart to disclose that she is their father's second wife.
As they made their way back inside, Jimin shared an intriguing tidbit about the garden they had just visited. It belonged to the prince, and he rarely allowed other children to enter, except for Han-bin. Han-bin held a special place in their hearts, having lost his mother at a young age. Jimin mentioned that she would share more about him in another chapter, as the author had forgotten his mother's name.
As they approached the Harem, a guard stood before them, seeking permission to announce their presence. Queen Jimin, known for her sharp eye, nodded to the announcer, signaling them to proceed with the announcement.
As the announcement echoed through the halls, the maidens swiftly aligned themselves in a straight line, bowing respectfully. Jimin and Jungkook gracefully entered the grand Harem, where Jimin gestured for everyone to relax. The two were introduced to all present, including the esteemed Head Lady of the Harem.
A few hours later
"My deepest apologies, Your Majesty, but I find myself quite fatigued and in need of some rest. If it pleases you, may I inquire if my chamber has been prepared for me?" Jungkookie humbly requested.
Jimin had informed Jungkook that her chamber had not yet been prepared, suggesting that she would have to spend the first night in the King's chamber. However, this statement was completely untrue. Jimin simply wanted the two of them to have the opportunity to spend some quality time together.
"Indeed, your personal chamber has been meticulously prepared for your comfort. I implore you to take a moment to rest and rejuvenate. We shall reconvene and engage in delightful conversation during the midday meal."Following this, Jimin gracefully departed to rendezvous with Taehyung.
As she made her way towards the King's office, an unsettling sensation overcame her. Suddenly, she found herself collapsing to her knees, her hands instinctively clutching at her throat as if she were choking on nothingness. The loyal personal maids who always accompanied her swiftly rushed to her aid, offering their support by gently rubbing her back and attempting to soothe her distress. "Summon the physician," she managed to utter with great difficulty, her voice strained. The maids promptly guided her to her designated chamber, ensuring her comfort and well-being.
They help her lay down on the bed "Your Majesty don't close your eyes." The maid said "But I am tired" The Queen said tiredly.
"I know your highness but you might be poisoned, so you must not. The Physician will be here any minute."
Queen Jimin heavily let out a breath before requesting to not inform the King about it.
Too late, The King already arrived at his Queen's resting chamber.
The Royal physician looked at the King with sad eyes "Her Majesty was indeed poisoned, but it does its work slowly, meaning it will weaken the heart. If something happens to Her Majesty, the autopsy will show it as a heart attack" The Physician continued "As we need to have proper treatment and find out how and when the Poison was given we would have to shift Her Majesty to a Hospital."
"The true reason for the Queen's admission to the VIP hospital will be kept strictly confidential. I will personally handle any media inquiries and ensure that the information remains undisclosed."

Jungkook was seated upon the chair before the Vanity, gazing emptily at her reflection. Her heart ached for the absence of her beloved brother, and lost in her thoughts, she failed to notice the tears streaming down her cheeks. It was only when Jane, her devoted personal maid, gently wiped away her tears with a delicate handkerchief, that she became aware. Grateful for Jane's comforting gesture, Jungkook expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Jane."
"Do not be overly distressed, Your Majesty. Simply grace his highness with a warm smile and refrain from contradicting his decisions, and he shall surely be captivated by your charm, leaving thoughts of Queen Jimin behind. After all, it is said to be in a man's nature to be swayed by such feminine allure."
Lady Jungkookie's anger flares as she glares at her maid, Jane. "That is not what I desire, Jane. I refuse to become the stereotypical second wife, cast as the villain. My respect for the Queen knows no bounds; I aspire to be her closest confidante, her dearest friend. The tears I shed were a testament of my longing for King Yoongi, my beloved brother."
"I humbly beg your forgiveness, Your Majesty," Jane apologized, her head bowed in deep remorse.
