Jungkook was preparing for lunch with Queen Jimin when the sound of commotion reached her ears. Without hesitation, she adorned her tiara and made her way towards the source. As she approached the Queen's chamber, she observed a gathering of medics, prompting her to delve into the situation with swift determination.
"The Queen has suddenly taken ill, and as a result, King Taehyung has decided to admit her to the finest hospital. Her Highness has already been relocated, and we are currently in the process of tidying up the chamber."
Jungkookie's heart filled with concern as she spoke, "I pray that God protects her. But do you have any idea about what happened?" she asked anxiously.
The servant's response was guarded, "I'm sorry, but it is the King's strict command that her Highness's illness must not be mentioned to anyone."
Acknowledging the servant's words with a nod, Jungkookie dismissed him, allowing him to continue his duties. Just as she was about to seek out the King for answers, a voice unexpectedly called out, capturing her attention and causing her to pause in her tracks.
"Queen Jungkook"
"Jung Hoseok? Is that you?" she asked, surprised to see him in this Kingdom since they had met a few times in her Parent Kingdom.
Hoseok, now holding the position of chief commander, approached her and said, "Yes, it's me. I came to let you know that the King is waiting for you."
Commander Hoseok then led her toward the King's office. King Taehyung was standing in front of the window, staring outside through it.
A knock on the door interrupted his deep thoughts, prompting him to grant entry.Commander Hoseok and Queen Jungkookie walked into the office, exchanging greetings with the king. "Your Highness, she's here," He informed The King.
Taehyung turned around, hearing the voice. He requested a moment alone with Jungkook, and they engaged in a brief conversation before delving into the current issue.
Taehyung informed her that she would assume Jimin's role during her absence. Naturally, she was taken aback, but he provided an explanation and emphasized the need for confidentiality. Jungkook promised to keep the matter strictly between them.

The servants and maids were concerned about Jimin's well-being. Some even had doubts about the new Queen, fearing she could pose a threat to their beloved Kind Queen. However, they kept their thoughts to themselves and never voiced them out.
Now, they were expressing their worries. They believed that a simple fever should not last this long, so they wondered what could have happened.
It was disheartening to witness some individuals behaving rudely towards Queen Jungkookie, completely disregarding the boundaries of respect. However, Jane, her loyal lady-in-waiting, swiftly intervened and silenced their impolite remarks.
Interestingly, Jungkookie remained unfazed by the harsh words. She empathized with their sentiments all too well. Queen Jimin is not just a mere queen; she is a nurturing figure, akin to a mother to her entire kingdom. This isn't solely because of her role as the king's wife, but rather because of her genuine care and compassion for everyone, treating them as her children. At times, her kindness knows no bounds, even to her detriment.
Even with a multitude of responsibilities, King Taehyung makes it a point to visit the hospital daily to see his Queen.
Jungkook, as a royal, frequents various areas of the palace, including the Harem, the Kitchen, the Garden, and the Hearing chamber. This demonstrates her dedication to understanding the needs and desires of her subjects.
In the Hearing Chamber, Queen Jungkook actively listens to the concerns and problems of her people. As a compassionate ruler, she understands the importance of lending an ear and offering assistance in resolving these issues. By actively engaging with her subjects and providing support, she strives to create a harmonious and prosperous kingdom for all.
Queen Jungkook also dedicates time to spending with the children. Initially, she believed both Ji-hun and Han-Bin to be princes but later discovered that Kim Ji-hun was the true prince, while Han-bin is the child of a maiden whom the King and Queen had helped. Tragically, this maiden was killed by a woman named Monica, who desired to be King Taehyung's wife. Monica even attempted to poison both the prince and the queen.
Meanwhile
In the hospital, a woman was lying down on a bed, connected to an oxygen machine. Since the room was VIP, the bed was designed to be similar to the one she usually sleeps on, so it wasn't too uncomfortable for her.
In the hospital, a man was sitting on a chair designed for visitors. He held onto the woman's hand tightly, gently rubbing his face against it, and planting gentle kisses upon it. It was a tender and affectionate moment, displaying the deep bond between them.
"Please awaken, my beloved. The world has lost its luster without your presence. I vow to bring justice to those responsible for your suffering!
Interestingly when I shared the news of your condition with Jungkookie, tears welled up in her eyes. It appears that she, too, yearns for your return. It brings me great joy to witness the understanding and special bond shared between both of my Queens. Rather than fighting over me, they embrace a unique harmony that I am truly fortunate to experience."
Just as a doctor knocked on the door, he entered the hospital room. Bowing respectfully to his King, he conveyed the need for a serious discussion.
"My liege, during the initial checkup, we informed you of an unsettling discovery. Her Highness has been subjected to a slow-acting poison, which has recently manifested severe symptoms. It appears that the poison was administered over an extended period, with its effects only becoming apparent last month. This venomous act, seemingly driven by jealousy, suggests that someone seeks to usurp Her Highness's rightful place. I implore you to launch an immediate investigation to identify the culprit. In the interim, we must restrict access to trusted individuals such as yourself, Queen Jungkook, and Commander Hoseok. Our staff will be limited to a select few, including myself and the two nurses. Let us work diligently to safeguard Her Highness and unveil the truth behind this treacherous plot."
In the realm of kings and queens, a storm brewed within the heart of the King. It was not the doctor's words that kindled his fury, but rather the truth they revealed about the Queen's affliction. Though he had intended to voice his agreement with the limitations on staff and visitors, the doctor, astute and shrewd, outmatched him. Years of service to the esteemed Kim dynasty had granted the doctor profound insights into the plight of royalty. And now, he discerned a sinister plot: someone harbored a desire to remove Queen Jimin from her rightful place, to claim the hand of King Taehyung.
Yet, this villainous act seemed devoid of logic, for the King had already entered into a sacred union with the Princess of the Min Kingdom. The question lingered: who stood to gain from such treachery? As the shadows of suspicion lengthened, the King's thoughts turned towards his new bride, wondering if she, too, might fall prey to the machinations of this unknown assailant. In this court of intrigue, hope flickered, mingled with uncertainty, as all awaited the swift capture of the malefactor. May the forces of justice prevail and bring an end to this web of deceit.
