Finally, i arrived at my destination. There was no parking but then i found a place near a black car, that car was soo astonishing i must say , well i wasn't bothered whose it was but it looked quite familiar however i ignored the fact and parked my car beside it and went straight into the office
My eyes went wide as soon as I entered the office it was so huge and, just like the ones I dream of everyday, In'sha'allah.
Snapping out of my thoughts I went up to the receptionist and told her about my interview, she asked me to wait a while before I go in,
"I will call out your name then you can procced to Sir's office he is personally interviewing people as his PA." said the sweet girl at the receptionist.
I agreed and sat in the sitting lounge admiring all the beautiful things they had in this office.
OH YES I FORGOT TO TELL YOU,
I was applying for a personal assistant job.
I waited for quite a while ,maybe 2 hours and went to the receptionist again but despite that she told me to wait more.
So here is the thing I usually don't get angry on such matter but wasting my time is as good as disrespecting me which I don't tolerate, however I did wait for quite a long time so I didn't say anything until I heard the receptionist say
"All those who have come for an interview, I am sorry to inform you but sir is not taking any more interviews today you all shall come tomorrow for this opportunity, thank you" she concluded.
My anger rose up and damn it went to be to harsh I guess.
I went up to the receptionist and asked her whats the matter why did she say so,
"Our sir is quite moody and as of now isn't in a mood of any interviews and so you guys have to carry on and come tomorrow" she said
What! Are you being serious with me I have wait for more than 2 hours and allah knows how many hours have these people been sitting here, what does your boss think of himself, just because we are looking for a job and are less in status then him, so he can rule us. NO! I am not going to let this happen" Where is your so called boss let me speak to him! I shouted.
I should have said it in a polite way but the opposite side wasn't polite either so why should I bother
I rushed to the office and banged open the door.
The chair was turned around so I couldn't see his face but I started speaking, more like in a stern tone
Good morning sir, I understand you aren't in a mood of interviews todays so you shouldn't have kept one, I have left important work to attend this interview and allah knows who has left more important work just to attend this interview, and what did you do make us all wait and then dismissed. ARE YOU FOR REAL? I concluded.
The chair spun round and what do I see that same man I bumped into this morning, no wonder this kind of an attitude can only be by some people.
It's you, again, are you serious? Is this a joke or are you really a boss of this place. How can such an arrogant and disrespectful person be the boss of this place,"i said out loud
he didn't reply to any of that all he said is "OUT!"
Just three letters, one word but still it had an impact on me. His eyes were red, like he cried earlier, but then I realised why would he cry , there were a lot of thoughts going around in my mind. I wanted to speak more but I felt staying quiet would be more wiser at this point of time. we kept staring at each other for about 5 mins straight, without blinking.
I finally gathered the courage to speak and said "listen mister,i realise you are the boss here but keep in mind we are getting paid for the work we do here, it isn't any charity you are giving us so you don't have the right to boss us around, I understand if there is a mistake we should be told but this kind of behaviour is too much, I wonder how your employees are still with you working, consider them as your team not slave." i ended this conversation here and left the place banging the door again.
All eyes were on me, some were surprised, some scared. However i ignored them all and fumed out of the office to grasp some air.
Seems i did say a little to much and now of course i wont be able to go to the interview tomorrow that means look for another job, and what am i going to tell daddy and ammi? i thought whilst sitting on the bench outside the bench.
