(Koa's pov)
"My family and our family enemy that sat in front of us now let's fix the situation you put yourself in ,mind telling me why did you send your guards on my son?."
The leader Timothy asked me gesturing to his only son Jessie covered with bruises me and Timothy Jesse's father we work great friends in the past until our money was ruined in the Romano's wanted power but we had shut that down and soon they became enemies with us. "Well we are enemies aren't we?.. and you have no right to show up in my home with my family putting them all in danger !"
I was infuriated by his actions he wanted to be civilized with me but then lead my family into danger like that? "Well I guess we're equal now right?." He's smirked " equal? There's nothing that says we are equal your family kills with knives and all sorts of embarrassing swords that humiliate your family line and mine kill with guns and loaded weapons we are nothing alike I never raised my children to grovel and kneel under the eyes of their elders if they feel disrespected they get rid of the ones who dare embarrass us instantly they don't and won't ever bow their heads to anyone not even you or your pathetic shame of a family it's sickening."
I scoffed at him.".. I want to do a wager with you ,my family and yours will fight together as one we don't let anyone hurt either of us my family side will protect yours and your side will protect ours but we still have the hatred we have for each other..-"
I rolled my eyes muttering "it's not like I'd ever stopped hating you and what you did in the past will never be forgiven for as far as I could live." Grumbling a bit but letting Timothy continue with his explanation "there's a twist. "
he muttered I saw it knowing something I wouldn't like would come from his mouth "There's always a twist with you and your family."
I groaned upset but listened to his statements ".. your daughter and my son will get married to keep both of our family stable and we'll have more protection when other dangers are coming to view it will give the whole family enough money and if to ever get caught and put into danger the enemy would believe such a lie."
Timothy finished I thought about it deeply.".. it would put my daughter into the position of dying because of an unprotected marriage she's not stable herself to be in the seat of marriage and having to deal with everything I won't allow it."
I explained to him calmly understanding what he meant by it as well but I couldn't let my only daughter just get into a forced marriage when she's not even allowed to work a job because of how dangerous it might cause her and our family as well as his".. I understand you're worried but she's a very independent and gracious woman to make her own choices but again I understand where you come from
"Im a father and guardian I'd do the same for my own son." He smiled softly before turning to my daughter" I do anything but marry your son I can't be owned and taken like it's a little fairy tale my life doesn't work like that you got your son so goodbye."
she stood up leaving the room "I guess you'd better choose a different girl romano." Alex smirked following behind his sister " I'll think about it again. " I nodded tilting my hat as a goodbye me and my wife and eldest son left out going home and cleaning everything up again ordering a glass Carpenter who would fix the marble family heirloom window.
(Jessie's pov)
I was upset at my father watching the family leave out before bursting into anger "what the hell is your f****** problem?!." I question him literally shaking from the anger " calm down son." He had replied calmly knowing I'd react this way
