It's saturday, and y/n is really thinking about canceling her plans with Holly.

"arrgghh, why did i agree to go..." She asks herself a bit frustrated by her choice.

She conteplates going before, taking a deep breath and deciding on just going and getting it over with.

It's not that she doesn't like meeting new people. it's just that sometimes she gets socially awkward in large groups of people. More like... she doesn't like meeting new people all at once.

rinnggg!*

"Oh! my phone!" she yells out, getting a bit startled.

"heyy get ready, Im about to pick you up in 30 minutes!" She announces excitedly.

"Okay," y/n answers.

"Control the excitment," Holly says with sarcasm in her tone.

"ha. ha, very funny," y/n says in the same sarcastic tone.

"see you in 30," She says before hanging up.

she quickly dashes to her wardrobe and pulls out a baggy pair of pants with a fitted crop top and a baggy sweater, showing a bit of her toned abs.

She fixes her short hair a little, brushing it neatly. She grabs a beanie and puts it on. She then applies light makeup, just eyeliner and some mascara and light blush.

"Okay, i think this is good enough," She says with a small smile.

Suddenly, a honk is head outside. She quickly takes her bag and phone and heads out.

y/m walks over to Holly's vehicle and opens the passenger seat door before going in.

"I told you to wear something cute," Holly says playfully, pointing at her zipped up baggy hoodie and jeans.

"I told you that I dress how I want," y/n retorts in the same tone.

They both chuckle.

As Holly continues to drive. They make some small talk as they get to the location they're going to. They're currently heading to a Korean bbq place that they have been wanting to try for a while.

Soon enough, they arrive at their destination.

They both step out of the vehicle. And walk to the restaurant, "Are they here yet?" Y/n asks a bit nervous.

"Yes, 2 of them are here so far," Holly says.

"How many more?" Y/n asks a bit nervous but trying to hide it with a small smile.

"Just 2 others," Holly answers.

Okay.. that's not many... y/n thinks to herself.

The 2 make their way to the table, and Holy waves at 2 males sitting on a table near the end of the restaurant. Y/n has to admit that they're both very good-looking.  They make it to the table and Holly introduces everyone, "y/n this is Jay," Y/n nods and waves with a small shy smile, the male gets a little flustered in surprise by how pretty she is when she smiles. "And this is Jake," Holly says with a small smirk. "Hello, nice to meet you guys," y/n says, shyly fiddling with her hands out of nervous habit.

"Nice to meet you too, you're pretty," Jake says in a flirting tone, startling y/n with his sudden complement, slightly blushing at the sound of his accent that reminds her of A certain someone.

"Uh, thanks," she says shyly.

"And it's nice to meet you y/n, I agree with Jake on that," Jay says with a small smile.
