Chapter Six: Nam Taehyun-Say You Like Me

I paced the stairs leading up to the school. It had just began to rain and I was worried that maybe Jennie wasn't coming. Should I text her? Nah.. she just wouldn't reply. Maybe I should call her mom and find out if she's sick and not coming to school today.

I had convinced myself that this was the best decision and was pulling out my phone as a girl stopped in front of me.

Her name is Kim Jisoo.

Every one knows her. She is one of the most popular and beautiful girls that go here. As a 1st year I don't know why she's stopping to talk to me.

"Your Nam Taehyun right?" She asked smiling at me.

She knows my name.

I nodded stupidly.

Linking her arm through mines she started to pull me away. "Oh I'm actually waiting for someone."

"I know." But that still didn't stop her from continuing to propelle me into the school. "You have a lot to learn about girls. Practically stalking her isn't going to make her like you. It'll only make her want to push you away more."

"I'm not stalking her." I insisted.

She rolled her eyes. "She runs in the other direction whenever she sees you coming."

I scowled. OK this girl is starting to get on my nerves. I shrugged out of her grasp. "Look you don't know me and I didn't ask for your help."

She laughed and shrugged. "I wasn't offering it. My job was to get you away from the stairs so Jennie could enter the school without being harassed. See yah." She said flipping her hair and walking away.

Do I really annoy Jennie that bad? To the point she has to ask someone to distract me so she can avoid me? I know she doesn't like me the same as I like her but I never thought I was an annoyance to her. I just want to spend time with her. If only she would take the chance to get to know me then maybe she would see that I am someone that she would want to date.

Sighing I leaned against the wall. She'd be coming in soon and then I'll be able to talk to her.

Just as predicted Jennie entered the school walking beside Song Mino. A lot of people speculate about their relationship but I'm not worried because I know she doesn't see him that way. Even when she 'dated' Hanbin right after he and Jisoo broke up I wasn't worried. I knew something was up because like Mino she only saw Hanbin as a older brother. With this new information from Jisoo maybe it was because she didn't want me to pursue her anymore.

She walked right past me not noticing me as she talked. I just stood there and watch her. She's so pretty. Everything about her is perfect. From her rounded eyes, pink lips and her thick hair. Whenever I see her I'm overcome with the urge to pull her close. I waited for her to finish talking and start back in my direction before I stepped forward ready to intercept her. Instead she crashed right into a boy I've never seen before embracing him.

I stopped in my tracks. What was going on. The way she looked up at him I'd never seen her look at anyone that way.

"Jennie." I called out her name hoping she would come to me. All that accomplished was her fleeing in the other direction.

Despite knowing it was a bad idea, I followed behind her.

Pwahahah I feel bad for making Jennie keep ditching Nam Tae when he obviously likes her so much. Kkkkk poor boy. Maybe she will start to like him as the story progress... who knows I have no clue how this is going to end at this point I'm just writing whatever I feel, there is no plan. Lol
