Chapter 1

Ugh! Don't you hate school!

I know I do! The 6th grade is just so hard. I hate it.

I shouldn't be saying these things... I mean I'm so lucky compared to the other kids. I'm popular and pretty and I have straight A's, oh and not to mention it but I also am dating the cutest boy in school aka Brett Marshall.

He's so cute, he makes me melt like a Popsicle on a hot summer day.
I am stopped from doodling in my notebook by the boy sitting behind me tapping on my shoulder. I already know who he is because he sits behind me everyday, it's Matty B.
He's super annoying and a slacker when it comes to school, but I can't deny that he's attractive, VERY attractive.

"Ugh, what do you want Matty?" I huff without turning around.
"Um I was wondering if you had a pencil?" he asked.

Yeah right like he just wanted to know if I had a pencil.

"No sorry Matty, this is why you come to school prepared." I scolded and this time I turned around to face him, and when I did, I was met with his smirk.
"Wow he's so gorgeous." I thought to myself.
No Hailey, stop thinking like this! You have a boyfriend! And just saying Brett is the cutest most popular boy in our grade.

"Yeah you're right, I'll learn better next time." Matty said with that smirk on his face the whole time.
"Miss Jennings? I don't think Matty is the teacher! Please turn around!" Our History teacher, Mrs. Ross exclaimed.
My face probably turned red as a tomato as I turned around. I could hear Matty's chuckle from behind me as I sat there staring at my notebook.
