I watched Jay walk away like he was running from something. Did he mean to call me 'love'? If he did, does that mean Abigail was right? I need to know. I ran to my room and called Abigail. "Pick up. This is an emergency." I spoke to her as if she could here me.
"Hey, what's the emergency?"
"How did you know it's an emergency?"
"I heard you talking to yourself. You said it is one."
"Oh yeah," I laughed to myself as I switched the call to FaceTime, "Basically, Jay walked me home after I watched his practice and when he said bye, he... he called me love!"
"So, I was right. He definitely likes you."
"Your always right!" I rolled my eyes at her.
"No need to roll your eyes. All you need to do now is ask him out."
"No. Just no. What if he was joking? I'm not doing that."
"Don't be a pussy, Scar!"
"I'm not. I'll just wait for him to ask me out."
"And what will you do if he doesn't?"
"Umm... I'll stay friends with him."
"That's fair enough!" I could hear her mom shout in the background. "Looks like I gotta go, see you tomorrow."
"Ok, bye." I ended the call right before Isabella walked up the stairs.
"Tea's nearly done Scar."
"Thanks sis!" I put my phone in my pocket and walked down the stairs. Whilst we were eating, I kept checking my phone to see if Jay had texted me. I wonder if he's ignoring me or not. Is he not texting me because of what happened earlier? After thinking for a while, I decided to text him first. So, after I'd eaten I went upstairs to watch tv and start a conversation with him. 'Hey, earlier was fun. Thanks for inviting me to your practice love.' I sent the text then threw the phone onto the other side of the bed. Hopefully adding love to the end made the message better.
