Nagi was listening in class when Hori was heard laughing at the back of class which annoyed Nagi. He turned back and glared at her. She was talking with her friends and talking about ridiculous things that only they found hilarious. Hori saw Nagi looking and gave him a smug look.
"Okay, class. Ill be returning ur report cards." The whole class groaned and grunted while Nagi and Hori were suddenly focused. It was a crucial moment for them both as it was time to determine who was better, who was smarter, whoever gets #1.
"Nagi.... Hori..." The teacher called them out. They ran out of their seat and to the front where the teacher was, collecting the report card.
"YES"... "shit..." Hori and Nagi said at the same time. Hori got #1st while Nagi got #2nd. Nagi scrowled and glared at Hori who was sticking her tongue out at him.
"OMG!! NO WAY!! You're so smart, Hori-san!" everyone praised her. Nagi looked angry and annoyed as everyone lavished praised upon her who was a complete brat.
At this moment, someone put an arm around both of them. "What ranks did you guys get!! dont tell me you guys were fighting for #1 again, cant you guys get along?" The boy sighed. It was Reo Mikage, a very close friend of Nagi's and as well as Hori's.
"Us?? Get along?? psh... never will i ever get along with him" Hori crossed her arms and Nagi agreed.
"Haish... that is the only thing you guys agree on, ill catch up with yall later!" Reo waved goodbye before he left. Nagi and Hori also mad etheir leave as neither one of them wanted to be near each other.
