The Dark Past and New Desires | Yoriichi x Michikatsu x reader

Confession

   Name was in Michikatsu's arms when Yoriichi came.
  "Name, please stay with me. Use your total concentration breathing" Michikatsu coached her.
   "Name,how did this happen?" Yoriichi asked her looking terrified at her state.
    It wasn't too serious but the two looked like she had her stomach slit in half.
   "A demon wanted to ambush Michi, I couldn't bear to see him get hurt. So I attacked but I got impaled" she said in a shaky voice.
   " Don't look so sad, I'll be fine. I'd do that a thousand times and endure worse if it means you two are safe, you mean the world to me " she said with a sweet smile as she cupped both their cheeks with her hands.
     She caressed it softly before giving them each a kiss on the cheek.
    "Let's get her to Shinobu, fast" Yoriichi said as he took Name out of his brother's arms.
    "Wait! I'll bleed out before we get there, let me close it up" she said and used her sai to tear her cape.
   She wrapped it around her chest and waist which looked like a corset in a way.
     She passed out in Yoriichi's arms as the two rushed her to the estate with speed they didn't know they had in them.

     Shinobu's face paled when she saw Name's state.
  "Please lay her on the futon" she said as the brothers watched her grab her equipment.
   Shinobu began removing the wrap Name put on and started unbuttoning her shirt when she saw the brothers were still around.
   " I require some privacy to do my work" she said as the brother's faces dusted pink before they quickly turned their heels out the door.
    Some of the women were weeping when they heard about Name's condition which only told the brothers how much she was loved.
      Mitsuri poured her heart into the meal she was making especially for Name when she awoke.
     She knew Shinobu was the best at what she did and surely, Name would recover soon.
    A few hours had gone by and Name woke up to find bandages wrapped around her chest. She let out loud coughs which had Shinobu running in to give her a glass of water.
   "Name, you're awake! We thought we lost you. Everyone was so worried" she exclaimed with tears in her eyes.
    "Mitsuri, bring the food!" Shinobu yelled out and in a matter if seconds, Name was served with a good looking dinner.
   "Waaah, we are so glad you're awake, I'll let everybody know" Mitsuri cried out before she left.
    "Shinobu.... I wanted to let you know, your poison was very effective, and helpful" Name said as she ate.
   "I'm so glad I was able to do something greater than just treating people " she said softly and left the pillar to enjoy her meal.

  The brothers were on the porch quietly grieving when Mitsuri suddenly appeared sweating.
   Apparently, she was so happy to tell everyone Name is awake that she ran there.
   "Michikatsu sama, Yoriichi sama,...." she began trying to steady her breathing.
  "What's wrong? Is everything alright?" Yoriichi asked her worriedly.
   "Name...is.... awake! She's eating....at the moment" she said between breaths.
   The brothers hadn't even waited for her to complete her sentence. At the mention of Name being awake, they dashed to the infirmary to see her.
   They slid her doors open and came inside startling Name.
   "Please knock! You startled me!" she scolded as she finished chewing the last bit of her ohagi.
    "You're awake! How are you feeling?" Michikatsu said as the two hugged her from the sides.
   "Better actually" she responded cheerfully.
    She noticed the fear and guilt in their eyes.
   "What's wrong? Are you still worried about what happened? It's not your fault" she told them honestly and didn't expect what they said next.
     "I love you Name"

   The Tsugikuni brothers just confessed their love to her. This made everything complicated as both brothers looked at each other with...anger?
    Name being stuck and conflicted since she loved both. She didn't know who she loved more, Yoriichi or Michikatsu.
    Both felt the need to protect her, be by her side, make her their bride.
   "Oh" was all she could say. She really didn't know how to act or react in this situation.
    Then, she suddenly realized she was half naked with bandages across her torso. Her face heated up furiously before she stuttered to them.
   "U-uh, guys? I- I want to take a b-bath and I - I don't have a s-shirt on" she said and hid her face in her palms.
    The two quickly noticed as their face both dusted pink before they left go of her.
      They took of their shirts and wrapped it around her frame and they could practically see the steam that came out of her ears when she saw them shirtless.
     The brothers smirked at her reaction before she bolted out the door to grab her bath items and make her way to the hot springs.

Michikatsu's pov
  When the pink haired maid came to inform us about Name being awake, I rushed to see her at once.
    My heart ached for her and she being alive brought such relief and joy to my heart.
        I wanted to stay by her side when we brought her to the infirmary but we were dismissed by Doctor Shinobu when she began undressing Name so she could tend to her injury.
     How I wish I was the one doing the undressing. An scenario of Name slowly stripping to show me all of her sumptuous curves came in mind as Yoriichi and I left.
      Seeing Name enjoying her meal in peace made me want to protect her. But I had failed before. As she saw the look in Yoriichi and I's eyes, she reassured us that what happened was not our fault and I couldn't hold back my feelings for her anymore.
   "I love you Name" I said to her as I hugged her right side.
    For some reason, Yoriichi had said the same thing making me glare at him angrily. Why can't he just let me have one thing. It's bad enough he surpasses me in everything and made our father hate me, now, he wants Name too?.
   I could only glare intensely at him as he did the same. Our silent battle was disrupted when Name began to stutter and we both turned to direction to her only to see her red.
     I thought she had a fever but realized she was blushing since we were hugging her bare torso. I blushed a bit as I took off my hoari to cover her and Yoriichi did same.
     This only made her blush harder as she stared at our bare chest before bolting out the door.
     " I'm pretty sure she was checking me out". I said proudly.
   "She was definitely checking me, not you" Yoriichi retorted as we walked out.
    "I can't believe you're in love with her, she's mine" I yelled a bit at Yoriichi not wanting to draw attention to ourselves.
   "Really, cause I'm pretty she's mine, since she has been with me in training more than you, and I was the first she saw when she arrived " Yoriichi said smugly.
   "How about we let her decide who she wants?" He suggested as we made our way to the male section of the hot springs.
   "She'll say she loves us both" I said truthfully.
    "Then we share her" he said as we got closer.
      Even though I wanted her for myself, I ended up agreeing.
        We heard a feminine voice singing and it was miraculous. It came from the female section of the hot spring and as we followed the sound, the singer's voice we recognized.
       It was Name singing one of her poems. We secretly eavesdrop when she is reciting her poems and our favorite is the first one she wrote; My dear samurai.

   run in the dirt, covered in the dark earth.
  Finally free from my captor but still I flee.
     When will I see that man, the man of my dreams, come to rescue me?

    We had to leave quickly when we heard Name coming out and if she found us, she'd think we're perverts which wouldn't give her a good impression of us.
       We actually had a good time time and felt so much better in the springs.
 
  Sooo, sorry for slow updates. Also I wanted to make the twins obsess over her, Michikatsu turns demon, a whole lot of drama and sick twists.
    I wanted to add yandere themes but I'm not sure how this story would be with it. I'll just let my heart and brain lead the way🙃
