The music blasted throughout the building, people dancing either by themselves or with another person, drunken people filled themselves with more liquor as if the world around them were about to explode.
Yet here was Reaper, dancing like he's never danced in his life, with Selina who held a beautiful grin on her face as she watched him.
"You're doing great." She encouraged him.
Reaper grinned nervously.
He could feel eyes burning in the back of his head, eyes of an alpha male feeling threatened.
Reaper peered over his shoulder and behold, Audrey was glaring at him with intimidation in his eyes, if looks could kill Reaper be dead already.
Selina gently redirected his face, "Focus on me, handsome." She took his hands in hers and swayed from side to side, Reaper spun her away before bringing her flat against his chest.
She felt his hands resting on her hips as they danced, her bottom half grinding back against him.
Reaper nearly forgot about the task at hand until he felt a tap on his shoulder. "Mind if I cut in?" Audrey asked.
"Only if it's okay with the lady," both men looked over at Selina for an answer.
As much as she didn't want to, Selina ultimately agreed. Audrey grinned as he offered his hand out to her, Selina peered up at Reaper with saddened eyes as she took his hand. Reaper walked back to the bar, ordered himself another drink, and watched them from his seat.
Audrey sent a smug grin to Reaper, gripping Selina flush against his chest while his chin rested on her shoulder, Audrey's eyes never left Reaper's form. Reaper watched as Audrey's hand gripped Selina's butt.
Selina, furious, pushed Audrey away and slapped him before storming off. Audrey's face scrunched up in anger as he started to storm after her. Quickly, Reaper stopped him.
"Get your hands off of me!" He growled.
Reaper pushed him back, carelessly. Audrey stumbled back. "Listen, this is between me and the whore. Move out the way!" Audrey hissed. He tried to walk past her again but Reaper stepped in front of him, blocking his way.
Audrey eyes him up and down before deciding to swing on him. Reaper swiftly dodged his punch before landing a swift one of his own, Audrey gripped his abdomen and hunched over, gritting his teeth.
“Shi..Shit.” He cursed.
Audrey stood up slowly, shaking a bit. Audrey lunged forward indeed to land a punch only for Reaper to sweep to the side, causing him to land on the bar.
Audrey turned around with a murderous intent in eyes as he glared at Reaper who stood there, calm and nonchalant. Audrey and Reaper felt a hand on their shoulder-two guards escorted them both out.
"Get your hands off of me," Audrey demanded, "Do you know who I am?" They ignored him and tossed them both out into an empty alley. Reaper fixed his clothes while Audrey furiously tried and failed to wipe mud off his clothes, only smearing it and making it worse.
"You filth! You terrible man!"
"I've been called worse." Reaper shrugged.
Audrey whipped out a pocket knife and snarled at him, "I'm going to kill you."
Reaper taunted the man with a rare grin, "Come and try it." Audrey-who was angrier than cats-lunged at him, knife drawn to stab him.
Reaper only watched him before pulling out a silencer and firing multiple shots, putting Audrey down.
His lifeless and limp body dropped to the ground immediately, eyes wide open as his dead eyes stared at nothing. Reaper sighed and pulled out his phone.
He checked around the corners as he waited, checking to see if anyone was near. "Hello?" A deep voice says. "Kolbi Summers, just the man I wanted to talk to." Reaper said.
Kolbi sighed, though Reaper couldn't see it, he knew was shaking his head. "Listen Summers, I need you to delete the footage off of some cameras of the Black Lagoon, can you do that for me?"
Kolbi sighed again, "Fine." "Appreciate it pal." Kolbi muttered something under his breath before speaking, "You owe me, Reaper." Reaper grinned, "I always do."
The call ended.
Reaper checked to see if any evidence was present before peering around the corner to see if anyone was around before leaving behind nothing but a lifeless corpse of his next paycheck.
