Before long, I had returned to my current HYDRA facility.

I was immediately met by the older man from this morning. He said nothing and just glared at me. I stared back, unsure of what I was expected to say.

"Who's Evelyn?" I finally asked the man in a confused, hushed voice. Hearing this, he turned and muttered something to the guards behind him.

"Don't you worry about that right now. Come take a moment to cool down, I'll be just a moment," He took my hand and ushered me into a small lab. I was there alone for a few moments, examining the pale, green room and nosing at the scientific serums on show . I heard muffled whispers coming from behind the door, I hesitantly made my way over to the wall leaned in close to try and make out what was being said between the quiet voices.

".... Wipe her.... Knows too much... Too risky.... Track Rogers... Kill..." I was only able to make out parts of the conversation, "Wipe her" I knew what that meant. I gulped and quickly scrambled to find a way out of the room. I had no idea whether I was ever successful in escaping a wipe; I didn't even remember what I did last night, let alone something like that. I ran to the nearest window but it was bolted shut.

"Oh there's no need for that, Soldier. Come on over here now." The man slowly entered the room, and gestured towards the seat beside him, a gigantic machine beyond it.

I shook my head. It was then that I heard a distant, scream coming from another room; it was a man.

I jumped at the sound. I didn't dare question it.

His smile soon faded, allowing a sinister, evil look to overtake his face.

"Soldier. Now." He waited patiently, when he realised I wasn't moving, he called for the guards.

They entered the room, approached where I was stood, towering over me. The men grabbed my arms and dragged me towards the seat before putting me down and injecting a syringe with a strange, cold liquid into my neck. Of course I was strong enough to fight them off if I tried, however fear controlled every inch of my body, casting me motionless.

Before I could do anything, a rubber mouthguard was placed between my teeth preparatory to a device then being pressed against my temples. I began to panic. I didn't want to forget.

Everything went dark.

I opened my eyes.

"Who are you?" A strange, familiar man asked as he stood before me.

"I am a solider. My mission is to kill."

-- Meanwhile --

The three arrived back at the compound.

"What in the hell just happened-" Sam yelled, rubbing his temples with his hands.

"Steve, who was that?" Nat followed, Steve pacing around the room.

"It can't be. It cannot be her, it is impossible." He muttered to himself.

"Rogers? Talk to us? What the fu-" Nat stressed.

"Ev." He replied, looking up at his two friends, sat just as confused and puzzled as each other.

"Ev? Who's Ev, what am I missin'?" Sam stood up and also began pacing.

"Evelyn. Evelyn Thompson. She uh. I met her before."

"Before what, Steve?" Nat began, "Like before as in the last week or before as in Before before."

Steve raise his hand and covered his mouth.

"It can't be. She's dead, she... She killed herself in 1945. We met her before, with her friend at the Stark Expo?!"
