Chapter Fifty-Seven: Savior Or Not

NARUTO'S P.O.V:

"So that's why you're with little Rei" 

I nodded at my aunt. I was laying my head on her lap as little Rei was sitting beside us, just listening to me explain why we were there. 

"Well I can help if you need it, the fireball jutsu is very important to an Uchiha and well we don't like it when it is used outside our clan but I guess you can't be considered as an outsider can you?"

I was confused by her question but only nodded since it seems that she won't explain it to me. I got up and dusted myself off, following her to the end of the pier. 

"Well the handsigns are simple and I guess chakra displacement isn't much of a problem for you since you completed Tsunade Sama's medic training. So watch, both of you." 

I watch as she went through the handsigns for the jutsu and said in a loud shout. 

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" 

She said and a large fireball was extended from her mouth, being linked to the appendix by a long stream of fire that seems to feed the ball. Looking closer at the surface of the lake, I could see steam rising from it, telling us how hot the fireball was. 

She then cut her chakra a few seconds later, letting the ball of fire extinguish after a second, I was left memorized by the display and looked over at Rei and could see her awe written all over her face. 

"Well that's all to it, so do you guys wanna try?" 

She said, coming from the edge of the docks I walked up, stood there, took a deep breath, and went through the handsigns, Horse - Tiger - Serpent - Ram - Monkey - Boar - Horse - Tiger. 

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!"

Right before my very eyes, a fireball greater than my Aunt's had formed, the stream of fire coming from my mouth to fuel it felt hot. My chest felt hot with all the fire chakra used to make this fire jutsu. 

The place was starting to get misty as well, prompting me to stop my expelling chakra, and it in turn stopped the jutsu, leaving me to stare at the lake that had evaporated till about 80% of the water was left within the pond. 

"Woooooowwwwwww!!!!!, Soooo cooollll!!!!" 

I turned around, hearing the shout of Rei and I saw the literal stars within her eyes and it brought a smile to my face as I looked over onto my aunt who looked surprised but still had a smile on her face. 

"Well, that was shocking, you got it first try and you've made it bigger than anyone ever recorded or shown. Nicely done Naru-chan." 

She hugged me after her statement, I returned it and then we both looked over to little Rei. She smiled when she saw our gaze and then she walked up to the end of the pier. She went through her handsigns and within a few seconds, a small fireball was expelled from her mouth. 

It was probably bigger than my Barrett but I guess it wasn't what she was driving for since she seems sad. 

"Hey little Rei, you know that you need to work hard before you can achieve right?" 

I was on my knees in front of her, my hands on her shoulders as she stares into my blue eyes. Her onyx eyes fill with sadness and it kind of pain my heart to see it. 

"I know but you did it on your first and I..." 

She stopped her sentence when I had wrapped my arms around her in a hug, I felt her stiffen for a while but then she responded by wrapping her arms around my neck.
