Adopted by Syndicate

Chapter 1

16 years. That's how long I have been here. My dad died before I was born and my mom died in a car accident just a month before my 2nd birthday.
"My name is Kaitie Joe-Anna Lynn. I'm 17 years old. I love watching youtube. I'm also a YouTuber myself. I do vlogs and video games mostly." I say for the 2nd time today to a couple.
"Ok you may go now." The woman said.
I get up and walk back to my room. Since I was the oldest in the orphanage, they allowed me to have my own room. I had a double monitor set up on a desk at the corner of the room with my laptop beside it. Today I was scheduled to meet with 2 couples and one other person. So far none of them seemed to take an interest in me. I was starting to get chilled, so I put on my SyndicateOriginal hoodie. I had just sat down on my bed when my name was called over the intercom again.
"Kaitie please come to meeting room 4 please."
I get up, walk out of my room and into meeting room 4. I don't bother to look at the person sitting across from me.
"You must be Kaitie. I'm Tom." The guy said.
I just nod.
"So tell me about yourself."
I tell him the same thing I tell everyone else.
"My name is Kaitie Joe-Anna Lynn. I'm 17 years old. I love watching youtube. I'm also a YouTuber myself. I do vlogs and video games mostly."
"Who is your favorite YouTuber?"
"TheSyndicateProject."
"That explains your hoodie then. What about you hair?" He said, referring to the fact that it was completely blue.
"Syndicate has been raisin money for motor neuron disease and if he reach a certain goal, which he did, he said he would dye his hair blue. So when he reached his goal I decided to dye my hair too."
"Ok you may go now."
I got up a walked out of the room. There was a little bit of hope inside me that I might actually be adopted today.

P.O.V. Tom

I sat there watching Kaitie as she talked. Not once did she look up and see that she was talking about me. I was surprised that she didn't even look up I asked about her hair. After I told her that she could leave, I went to the main office and talked to the head lady.
"I would like to adopted Kaitie." She had a slightly surprised look on her face.
"Ok just fill out these papers and I will have her pack her stuff." She handed me a small stack of papers and I sat down and started filling them out.

A few minutes after I got into my room, another call came across the intercom.
"Kaitie please pack your things and come to the main office in 20 minutes."
I smile came across my face as I grabbed my backpack. I threw what little clothes I have and my laptop and charger in it. Then I got my bigger suit case and put every thing else that I needed including my computer, mic, headset and camera. When l I finish getting everything i head down to the main office to meet my new father. When I open the door I was surprised to find hi hair was dyed blue like mine. He also looked very familiar. I walk over and sit at the chair at the side of the table waiting for him to finish filling out the papers. He stood up and walked over to the main desk to hand the papers back, so I grabbed my stuff and followed. I wasn't to surprised to find that I was taller than him but I was surprised that it was not by much considering I was 6'.
"Ok. Here are your papers of adoption, both of you sign here and you may go."
I take the pen and sign my first and middle name on the line.

I hesitate not knowing what to write for my last name.
"Cassell" Tom said to me. Tom Cassell, I've heard that name before.

I hand Tom the pen and he signs his name. After he signs his name, he walks out to his car and I follow. After I put my stuff in the trunk I sit in the passengers seat and he pulls out of the parking lot.

Hey guys sorry that's all for this chapter. I will get the next on up ASAP. Usually I write during class but I'm giving and orientation tomorrow so it will take me a little longer.
