Chapter 14

P.o.v Tom

I had an hour to get ready before I had to leave to pick up Evelina. James had came over so him and Jo were downstairs watching a movie. I decide to take a quick shower. After that I dry my hair and spike it. I put on a pair of blue jeans and was about to grab one of my SyndicateOriginal shirt but hesitated and chose dark blue t-shirt instead. I grab my wallet, phone and the keys to my car before heading down stairs. I tell James and Jo bye and leave to pick up Evelina. The drive wasn't to far to the address she had given me. Once I got there she was waiting on me in a beautiful red dress that stopped jut above her knees. Her hair was curled at the ends where it was red and where it what brown what straight. I got out of the car and hurried around to open the door for her. "Good evening Evelina." I say as she got in.
"Good evening Tom."
I took her to the restaurant where w met. It takes a little while for a table to become empty so that we could be seated so we wait in the lobby and talk for a while. When the waiter finally comes to seat us it was about 5:20. I might have been a good idea if I would have made a reservation.

After the dinner I was taking her to one of my favourite places Manchester. You could see fields for miles an it was incredible at night. Once we got there, I had went before I picked her up and set out a blanket, I open the door an covered her eyes, leading her over to the blanket. "Ok, ready, Evelina?" I ask and get ready to uncover her eyes.
"Yes, Tom, the suspense is killing me." She says, making me laugh.
"Ok, 1, 2, 3!" I say an uncover her eyes. When she first saw the view she covered her mouth.
"Oh my gosh, Tom this is amazing. How did you find this place?"
"Before I adopted Jo, I would get bored sitting around the house and I needed a break from gaming sometimes of course so I would just get in my car and drive. One day I found this place and I thought you would like it." I explain to her.
She turns to me and gives me a hug. "This is amazing Tom."
I lead her down to the blanket and we sit and talk for hours. I find out that she was actually in the band Twenty-One Pilot as a guitarist a couple years ago. I ask her to sing one of the songs for me but she was stubborn and said that we were too much in the open. We were on a hill with the closet house miles away at 10:30 at night, I don't think any one would have heard but I don't push and let it go.
It was getting quite late so we decided to go home. I dropped Evelina off at her house and went on home to mine. When I get there James was asleep with his arms around Jo. It's was cute so I take a picture but I don't post it. Soon Jo would be turning 18 and i was planning a huge alcohol infused party. Not sure what kind of alcohol she would like or even if she liked it. Something to ask her tomorrow. Hey it's not like every teenager waited until the were of age to drink and I have a feeling that by the way she knows how to fight she has had a few drinks before. Anyways I change my clothes into something a little more appropriate to sleep in an went to sleep.
