Andrew started walking to his house ready for a new day of dealing with his dad.
"Andrew," His father's voice boomed from somewhere inside of the house, knocking down half of the trees that surrounded him. From somewhere deep in his throat he growled so viciously it almost scared him. Then he realized that under no circumstance could his father ever know he was a dragon. "Coming!!" ANdrew said, trying to cover up the growl. Andrew walked into the one story house through the mainly repaired front door. The last time it had to be replaced was, when did that happen. How long was I away? He thought as he went inside, softly closing the door behind him. Before he could wonder about another thing the house became a steel bar cage that seemed to consume him. While, titanium chain binded him. Before he could control it, his wings were out and flaring, rapidly. Horns twisted to the sky. Worst of all he roared full out enraged about his situation. He had lost his sense of himself and was in the mindset of a dragon. His wings were shortly bound. He flared wildly, thrashing against the cage. Fire pouring out of his snout. Yet again titanium binded his snout. "Wow, my son, became a dragon? I forgot that this family was connected to the horrid Dragon King. oh and it seems that you are'' Andrew's fathers voice said in the misty, gloomy dark. His eyes aered in the dark, glowing an eerie red. His sharp black pupils stared into Andrew's soul. Andrew growled smoke still pouring out of his nostrils, his wings tried to move even more, yet getting him pain. The titanium chains started to dig into his hard scales. "Soon you will get what you deceive you dangerous monster"
Andrew woke up sweating and panting like crazy. Am I really a monster? He thought. His father's words repeated in his mind. He noticed that his scales were harder than before, it was a sore to move his wings. It felt like it really did happen. NO, I refuse to believe that.
As Andrew sat there staring into the night sky, panting, and trying to reclaim his breath. Just breathe Andrew, just breathe.
"What's wrong? You look like something happened. You can tell me, but if you don't I understand. You can trust me." I hope he tells me, I want him to know I care about him. Maybe I can help him. "I. . . I don't really want to talk about it. "Andrew said with, what seemed to be quiet defeat.
That tone he used broke Lily's heart. She never wanted to see that face ever again. She left that topic alone. "Would it make you feel better if I told you more about me, then?" I trust him a lot more than the other day. Is that weird? It's totally weird. Stop being weird Lily!
"Or just talk if you want, but not about something you don't want to." She added stuttering. "Okay, now you're just being confusing." Andrew said, as something in the forest that surrounded them rustled around. An audible 'snap' sound signaled that something or someone was also with them. They were not alone. Dark beady eyes stared at them surrounding them. While Lily looked ready to fight, trying to assess her prey. A soft growl escaped her throat and poured into the darkness, warning whatever was watching them to back off. A growl answered.
"Wait a second . . . Axa," Lily's voice asked and time seemed to stop for a heartbeat of time. "Moon, Shadow, Snowflake?" Lily's voice continued as silhouettes of wolves came out of the shadows barely. "Lily," Andrew's voice said, trying to keep his voice even "Do you know them?" "Yes, I believe I do," Lily responded "Andrew. . . meet my old pack." Lily said not to thrilled. She actually seemed rueful to Andrew. In fact Lily was glaring straight into the eyes of who Andrew thought was Axa, the Alpha of the pack. She had beautifully dark fur that made her blend into the darkness of the night, dark beady crimson red eyes that seemed to glow eerily in the dark, and piercingly white teeth that gleamed with dark danger. "Why hello, Lily." Axa sneered in a way that left no room for questions; she spoke with such authority that would scare Andrew if he wasn't more powerful than Axa could imagine. Andrew happened to notice that the other wolves stood a few feet behind Axa and ducked behind on another as if Axa had done horrible things to them.
As if Axa was not meant to be Alpha. As if she used fear to be Alpha. Lily snarled back "What do you want? I am not in the pack anymore. Are you trying to fix what you did? Because I can tell you right now what you have done is unfixable, forgivable, or virtuous." This is the most vicious that Andrew has ever heard Lily. "And don't you dare try to kill Andrew!" Andrew could hear the passion for him in her voice. Lily was now almost in front of Andrew in a stance that made her look like she was about to pounce and attack Axa if she took another step towards Andrew. Teeth bared, tail out, ears pinned back, she looked absolutely vicious. That's when Andrew realized She's prepared to fight for me. She's is going to go against her pack for me? She is badly outnumbered but she is bigger than Axa, maybe a little stronger too.
"No need for all of that, after all I am your younger sister." Axa said, raising her head slightly triumphantly.
