□The last meeting (until a while)

Third POV

Over for two years now Tsukasa had been going to the park after his chores to play with Rui. Their friendship was so deep that they even started calling each other by their first name. Tsukasa now felt great that he wasn't lonely anymore, and had a amazing friend to hang out with. But on day everything changed that.

It was a Friday over summer break, and Tsukasa was finishing his last chore. But unexpectedly his mother barges into the front door. "Tsukasa honey the doctor has news for us so im taking you to the hospital to meet up with your sister." "Ok mom" Tsukasa puts down the broom, puts on his shows and runs out the front door to catch up with his mother. When he arrives at the hospital, he heads up to Sakis room.

Tsukasa had not seen his sister in a while so when he sees Saki, he runs to her and gives her a hug. " I missed you Saki, how have you been" " I have been doing great brother, a little dizzy, but great" "Well that's good to hear." After hearing his sisters' words, he had a gut feeling that today was going to be the day she finally gets out of the hospital. Tsukasa was having a conversation with his sister, telling her what he does every day. After a little while the doctor walks in and interrupts Tsukasa and Saki. Tsukasa was excited but nervous at the same time wondering what his doctor was going to say. " Hello Tenma family I'm doctor Akki" "Hello doctor, how's her condition?'' Tsukasa mother asks. "I'm afraid that it is only getting worse and not getting any better." " My advice is to move to the US to get better treatment for Saki, because we have done everything, we can do here for her, and there is a better chance that Saki will be able to get better faster over there." When Tsukasa heard that his heart sank to the bottom of his stomach. "Move to the US, and leave everything behind here?" He thought. He loved his sister so much and wished she would get better ,but ust the thought of moving away made him sick. But what made him even more sick is when his mother said," Fine if it helps my daughter, I will do it." "Hold on," Tsukasa said " We can't just move to the US, one we don't speak the main language, two it's a lot of money just for a US dollar (Around 130 yen), Three I have friends and a life over here, it would just be too different, and difficult over there." "I know it is tough honey, but we have to do this for your sister." "But..." "Ok I will make you a promise, once Saki gets better, we can move back to Japan, I'll even ask one of our family members to take care of the house while were gone, ok?'' "Ok mom." Tsukasa sighed he was very sad to be moving away from his home, but he was even more sad about leaving Rui.

Tsukasa asked his mother if he could go home. His mother agreed leading him out the front door and to the car. On the car trip home, he was thinking ways to break the news to Rui. But he could not come up with anything because he was to overwhelmed of what happened.

The next day after he finishes his chores he starts heading to the park. When he reaches the park, he sees Rui playing with a Soccer Ball. Rui spots Tsukasa and run over to where he is. "Hi Tsukasa, look my mother bought me a ball to play with, do you want to play with me?" Tsukasa does not answer, and it concerns Rui a little bit. " Tsukasa kun are you ok? "Rui...... I am moving to the US soon." When Rui heard the news, he dropped his balled and asked why he was moving. Tsukasa explains how ever since her sister was born; she's been hospitalized due to her illness her entire life. And now the hospital cannot provide her anything anymore for her, so they are moving to the US soon to get her better treatment. "What day are you moving on?'' " Idk yet but its soon." "But I promise that on the day I move I will visit one last time." "Ok Tsukasa, let's make these last days the best days." " Ok Rui"

For the last days Tsukasa and Rui have as much fun as possible. They did everything they could think of. But at last moving day came up. Tsukasa asked his mother if he could go to the park one last time to see his friend. Tsukasa's mother agrees, and he starts running as fast as he can. When he arrives, he spots Rui and walks up to him. " Well Rui todays the day" "It is!" "Well then I guess this is goodbye Tsukasa" "It is Rui, but wait!" Rui turns around to see Tsukasa reach into his pocket and takes out a yellow star key chain." "I want you to have this Rui, so you can always remember me." "I'll Cherish it forever Tsukasa." " And since you gave me something of yours, I'll give you something of mine, so you can always remember me.'' Rui Pulls out a Purple Robot keychain and hands it to Tsukasa. "Always remember me Tsukasa." "I will Rui." Both of them hug and said their final goodbyes.
