We reached the building and were surprised to see how beautifully modern it looked. I was expecting an old tattered building. We were greeted at the door by an old man, "Hello, come on in its chilly out there. I'm Grant by the way." "I'm Jack and we came here to inquire whether you still have the books and publishing contacts considering your shop used to provide the Oxford library." I was almost ready for him to refuse and explain how he gave it all to Serve, but instead he replied, "Yes, I would never give my books away, no matter how many stores my son convinced and bought. He can never buy his father."
For a moment I did not think I heard him correctly and he explained, "My son owns the firm and handles all the business regarding Serve, buying Oxford partially was one of his biggest accomplishments but in two months they will be opening the future library with Owford and we would have lost all chances to bring it back. I have few years to live and I had lost all hope until a few minutes since you both showed up. My prayers have been answered."
For two whole months we spent all our time into shifting the books and contacting the publishers and bringing back the former glory of Oxford. "I cannot believe tomorrow in the opening of the future library, all reading gadgets will be banned and I can soon smell the fresh printed pages." Denise chirped happily.
