"hee, be honest, do you like her?" she asked, looking at the boy who was also confused with his feelings. he looks like he's still thinking whether to like her or not.
"i don't know, maybe?" the boy sighs, knowing he can't be with areum anymore.

areum slowly enters the classroom, when she first entered, the first thing she heard was clapping from the teacher to earn her student's attention,
"sit down everyone! we have a new student today." areum stopped beside the teacher and bowed slightly, "please introduce yourself." the teacher smiles, and took a few steps away from areum.
"ah- my name's park areum, you guys can call me areum." areum bowed, right when she looked up, she saw wonyoung and jungwon giving her a thumbs up making areum smile.
"you can sit down next that girl over there" the teacher points at wonyoung, she was happy that she get to sit next to wonyoung. knowing that wonyoung is the first friend she made here.
she walked towards the table next to wonyoung. she smiled and waved at her, wonyoung replying to her wave.

the bell rang, signaling that lunch just started. students start to stand up from their seats and rushed outside to go to the cafeteria, well, except for areum. she was lost and didn't know where to go.
"hey, need help?" a guy says behind her, making areum turn around. it was jungwon, smiling sweetly while slightly tilting his head. "yeah, sure." the girl slowly nods her head.
jungwon then walks beside areum, he doesn't know what to say. "so, why did you move schools?" the boy starts off, areum looks at him and looked down to the floor. "well, my parents were tired of driving me and my brother to school so they decided to just roll me to my brother's school." jungwon nodded, but he's also curious about something.
"who's your brother?" jungwon slowly looks at areum, who was looking down at the floor. "park sunghoon." the girl muttered. jungwon's eye suddenly widens.
"huh, are you okay, jungwon?" areum titled her head just like jungwon earlier, she was confused on why jungwon was acting like that.
"i'm scared of your brother, to be honest." jungwon says, his eyes are still wide. "why?" the girl was confused, why would he think her brother is scary even though he's sweet towards her.
"he told me to stay away from you, he was being protective." jungwon crosses his arms "well, i did ignore his warning so, i'll probably be dead meat soon." he puts his hand on his head.
areum chuckled, "don't worry, it's not like he's gonna do something to you, right?" she assumed, making jungwon more upset on what's gonna happen next.
jungwon sighs, "i guess so." he puts his hand on his pocket and walks down the hallways with areum.
when they were walking, someone bumped into areum again. making areum almost loose her balance, but she was quickly caught by jungwon.
"it's you again." the guy who bumped her says. yes, you guessed it, it was heeseung. heeseung rolled his eyes and walks away, areum was obviously not satisfied with his actions and start to shout at him,
"how many fucking times did you bump into me?!" the girl behind him shouts, making heeseung turned to look at areum who was crossing his arms like a little child, making heeseung laugh.
"did you just cuss at me?" his laugh slowly turned into a serious expression, making areum shiver.
he slowly walks towards areum and whispered something in her ear, "i'll make sure you regret that." the guy smirks, walking away feeling victory.
on the other hand, areum was standing there. she didn't know what to do. instead, she just sighs in frustration, "it's my first day in school goddamn it!"
the girl stomps at the floor, she didn't realize that jungwon was watching the scene. "are you okay?"
she realizes that jungwon was still beside her, making areum stop stomping on the floor "yeah, i'm fine." she fixes herself as if nothing just happened.
a girl suddenly walks towards areum, "hey, you okay?" wonyoung asks, making areum turn her head. "oh yeah, i'm okay." she pulls out a thumbs up with a wide smile, her eye smile was visible.
"do you want to eat lunch?" wonyoung asks, well, areum doesn't want to eat actually. she never wants to eat, since she realizes she's been bloated for this past months.
"no thanks, i'm good." wonyoung nods and they all walked to class together. "but i'm hungry!" jungwon says, catching up to those two.
"go eat by yourself!" wonyoung shouts, jungwon hearing it and sighed loudly.
"damn, i just want to be closer with her." _____
"ah, school is finally finished!" the girl stretched her arms, ready to head home after a long day.
she took her headphones and turned on a song in spotify, like usual. she was obsessed with music, she would turn it on every second.

her favorite artist's song played, she smiled widely when she saw it. she walked home alone, sunghoon had plans with his friends so she didn't walk home with sunghoon.
she assumed that heeseung was also with sunghoon right now, 'god thinking that just makes my blood boil' areum thought, and sighed.
she finally arrived home revealing her parents who is sat at the dinner table, "hey! come have dinner." her mom called her out, "eh, i'm not hungry." areum said, her mom nodded and thought that she already ate a lot at lunch earlier.
"how's your first day in school?". her dad asked, areum sighed as a response. "it was- okay." areum looked down, knowing it wasn't okay.
her dad knew it wasn't okay, but her mom didn't realize it. "that's good to hear! you can go rest." her mom smiled at her, and areum looked at both of them and nodded.
"okay, thanks mom." she says and left to go to her bedroom. she went to her bedroom and instantly threw herself on the bed,
