While Jack and VJ left to sit in his car, their friends were still at the dance connecting.

Sabine took a deep breath, "Alan's selling outside. We're good."

She sat on top of the teachers desk and smirked.

"Good. You know what I've been waiting to do all day?" Mike questioned, standing a couple feet away.

"What?"

He got closer to her, and gently grabbed her face.

"This," he said, pulling her into a kiss.

Their time was cut short once they heard Alan's voice in the hallway.

Sabine hurriedly put her shirt back on causing Mike to sigh.

"I don't understand why we just don't tell him."

She scoffed at what she thought to be a joke, "that's not funny."

"I'm serious," he stated.

Sabine looked at him annoyed.

"He would kill you," she said in an obvious tone.

Then added, "and break up with me."

"Maybe that's for the best," Mike replied.

"He doesn't appreciate you as much as he should," he commented.

Sabine got off the desk and put a hand on her hip.

"Look," she started.

"This was nice and maybe we can do it again sometime but don't be stupid. Alan's still my man," she said,

Mike shook his head in denial, "are you attracted to his status and money that much?"

Sabine's mouth went wide and her eyebrows raised, she couldn't believe what he had just accused her of.

"Are you calling me a gold digger?"

"No. All I'm saying is you're out of his league. He doesn't even have his mom's status to leach on to anymore," he revealed.

"What are you going on about?" Sabine asked, confused about what he was saying.

Mike looked down for a second. Alan had told him to keep it a secret and his big mouth just had to go and say something. Sabine waited for him to answer and once he noticed her displeased face suddenly all concern for his friend's feelings went out the window.

"Alan's mom is in prison for killing his father. She's been gone for a year now."

Skye was having fun and dancing like no one was watching. Her dad actually agreed to let her come after a couple of days of convincing. After all the stunts she had been pulling latley she understood why he had said no, but she couldn't find it in herself to be compassionate in the slightest. So that very morning she did irrational and irresponsible things that she would probably be paying for. Skye knew it was only a matter of time before her fun was taken from her once again so she was prepared to have the time of her life. After scoring some free drugs from Alan, she was feeling relaxed. Well, until she saw a familiar person approach her.

"Hey," the girl said.

Skye reluctantly stopped moving to the beat of the music and rolled her eyes, "what do you want, Cameron?"

"I just...wanted to see how you were doing," the girl said.

"Oh, are you high too? Alan sells some really dope stuff," Skye said.

A pang of disappointment was all she could feel. She had tried her hardest over the past couple of weeks to get over their breakup and she was almost over her. But sometimes the idea of her coming back crept inside her head.

"I miss you," Cameron admitted.

And there it was. She was pulling her back in. It was always like this in the past, Cameron would come back giving the lamest apology ever for whatever bad thing she had done and it worked.

Skye held her hand up to her mouth to cover the loud laugh that came out.

Maybe it was what she was on but this was the most funniest thing ever.

"I know I fucked up," Cameron said.

Skye stood there trying to imagine how she would sound actually apologizing with sincerity. A single statement wouldn't do it for her this time. She needed to be treated better than that, and it was mind boggling how she was just realizing that.

"Cameron, you're acting like you ditched me when we made plans or something. You cheated on me. You did more than just fuck up," Skye pointed out.

"I don't know how to make up for it other than just saying sorry," Cameron replied.

Skye shook her head, "then maybe you don't deserve me."

Her arm was grabbed, "wait. Weren't you the one who wasn't over me? You were a mess at the party."

"Yeah, well I'm over you now," Skye glared.

"Why? Because of that bitch with the glasses. I see how you look at her," Cameron hollered.

"Will you keep your fucking voice down?" Skye questioned, sensing people were staring.

"You're wrong," she whispered.

Cameron got in her face. "Am I really? Or are you just too much of a coward to admit you like your cousin's girlfriend?"

"This conversation is over," Skye said, pulling her arm out of her grasp.

"Next time you feel the need to apologize to me, just don't."

She then stormed away from her ex girlfriend and went to the bathroom to cool down.
